Im not sure if its worth the price tag but I have a few Dyson products, mainly the cordless vacuums and I love them but the hair dryer is on the same level. Well made and works amazing. I personally think its worth it but I am no the person who micro manages every penny I earn... I'm sure I could find a cheaper copy cat blower that does almost as good but I like to support the company who created the amazing product first. Dyson spends a lot of money into engineering and always improving their products... its very expensive to do such while other cheap Chinese companies copy it without the burden of being the pioneer. This hair dryer does a fantastic job and I dont regret buying it. A+! ... show more

I have sat on my decision to purchase this for the last 3 years because of the cost. Luckily, the price has come down, despite inflation! As a curly haired girl with 3a/3b hair I usually let my hair air dry for 15 minutes, then diffuse. It use to take me 20-25 minutes of hovering over my thick hair. Now it takes 7-8 minutes.
