I’ve used Dyson products before, including one of their vacuums and a hair dryer, but I’ve never personally owned one. Because of that, I was especially curious to try something from their hair-care line and see whether the same attention to quality and design carried over into their beauty products. This scalp treatment has been a really positive introduction. The foam-to-serum formula feels lightweight but surprisingly moisturizing, and it leaves my scalp feeling hydrated without making my roots greasy, sticky, or weighed down. I also like that my hair still looks healthy and has a nice natural shine afterward rather than looking oily or coated in product. The fragrance is another thing Dyson did well. It smells fresh, clean, and elevated, but it isn’t overpowering or strong enough to compete with my other hair products. It makes the application feel a little more luxurious without leaving a heavy fragrance behind. The quality is noticeable in both the formula and the packaging. The applicator makes it easy to distribute the product directly onto my scalp and control the quantity I’m using, so I don’t feel like I’m wasting serum with every application. A little goes a reasonable way, and I appreciate that the packaging is refillable rather than having to replace the entire container. This is definitely positioned as a premium product, so value for money is going to depend on how much you prioritize the formula and overall experience. There are certainly less expensive scalp products available, but this feels much more thoughtfully designed than a basic serum. Between the moisturizing effect, lightweight finish, applicator, refillable design, and overall quality, I can better understand where the higher price comes from. What stands out most is how cohesive everything feels. Dyson didn’t simply put its name on another hair product. The texture, application method, fragrance, packaging, and performance all feel intentionally designed to work together. I really wasn't sure what to expect when I saw this but I wanted to try it because I do love hair treatments and wanted to see what Dyson was up to! I would say to me, this is like a dry shampoo but wet if you get what I'm saying lol. I don't like dry shampoo because I tend to have drier hair but this stuff is like a foamy in-between hair wash refresher for your scalp. It leaves my scalp feeling refreshed and doesn't leave my hair looking greasy or anything, it just brings it back to life a bit. Plus it has a nice soft scent. I’m a long time user of kerastase scalp serums. I switch off between nutritive and potentialiste to help with itching and flaking. The initial appeal of this serum was that it targets both in one and has several quality ingredients. I have fine, low density hair so lots of serums can weigh my hair down which is why I had stayed with kerastase so long. This one does not weigh my hair down and is very light and airy. Right from the jump my initial packaging complaints are that the cartridge has nowhere to show you when it’s running low and it would be difficult to travel with this as there’s no true locking mechanism on the pump. Because it’s a liquid foam it’s very hard to tell how full it is by feel, even when it’s new. I hope they will make a small clear portion on the cartridge to view liquid level so you know when to reorder ahead of time. The scent is really light and not overwhelming which I appreciate. I wouldn’t try directly putting on my scalp from the bottle, I think that would be odd/messy and less effective. I pumped onto the pads of my fingers and massaged into my scalp in sections. Overall, I like the packaging besides the cartridge and my scalp felt soothed after a few minutes of use. I will definitely keep using this until it’s empty. However, unclear if I’ll continue use since it’s $45-55 per 2.53oz v kerastase $60 for 3.04oz. ... show more

I've been using this treatment for a while now, and I'm still on the fence about it. I know scalp and hair treatments often take several months of consistent use before you see noticeable results, so I'm not ready to say it doesn't work. At the same time, I also can't say I've seen much of a difference yet. If there has been any improvement, it's been very subtle. That's why I'm continuing to use it, hoping the results become more noticeable over time. One thing I do like is the scent. It's very light and clean without being overpowering, and the treatment doesn't leave my scalp feeling greasy or weighed down. I also think the packaging is very well done. It has the premium look and feel you'd expect from Dyson, and it's easy to use. My biggest hesitation is the price. It's definitely on the expensive side, and for a product at this price point, I was hoping to see more noticeable results by now. That doesn't necessarily mean it won't work over time, but based on my experience so far, I'm not convinced it's worth the cost. Overall, I'm giving it three stars because I'm still waiting to see whether the long-term results justify the premium price. This bubble treatment is a bit pricey but absolutely worth every penny. I love the sleek and modern design that comes with Dyson products. It has little to no scent, if anything it smells fresh without being too perfumey and the scent is gone once you blow dry your hair. My scalp feels nourished and my hair feels bouncy! I wasn’t expecting a foam like product to bond so well with my hair, but it does just that while maintaining effectiveness and moisture in my scalp. I absolutely LOVE how easy the pump function is and how my hair is feeling fresh and soft after use, without feeling greasy and weighed down. This is definitely a different type of hair product than I’m used to seeing, but it’s actually pretty nice to use. The bubble texture feels light and refreshing on the scalp, and it doesn’t leave behind that heavy or greasy feeling some leave-in products can have. A little goes a long way, and it absorbs fairly quickly once worked in. The packaging and overall presentation feel premium, which is pretty on-brand for Dyson products. It’s hard to judge long-term benefits quickly with a scalp treatment like this, but as far as comfort and overall experience go, it feels good and makes the scalp feel refreshed without weighing hair down. ... show more

I've been trying to get ahead of the family tradition of thinning hair, and opted to give this a try. I only recently learned that caffeine can, apparently, promote hair growth, so this looked interesting. The results so far have been a more hydrated and healthier looking scalp and some pretty nice looking hair. It's harder to say if fighting hair loss is working, but it's still on my head, so that's a good sign! This is a bit pricy for the size of the bottle, but it certainly has been better than store-bought cheaper options. It does feel refreshing, and I'm willing to give it more time to try out. ... show more
