I bought this the end of January 2023. This is my second Dyson dryer. The first one was a gift in 2020. It still works perfectly today. I love it so when I saw this one, I had to have it! I love using it to blow dry my curly hair straight. I normally diffuse my hair with the other Dyson. I don’t straighten my hair often, so I rarely use this new Dyson I got a few months ago. I am so, so, so disappointed because today I’m the middle of using this it just stopped working. I’ve never had this happen to me. I cannot believe how many reviewers are saying the exact same thing that happened to me, happened to me. There is no way this company is getting away with selling a $600 blow dryer that does not work. I e literally only used this dryer a handful of times. This is ridiculous and if Amazon continues to allow these types of products and these things keep happening I will no longer use this app. I want a full refund or a new dryer. There is no way to even contact through the app which is just disgusting so I will call the number on the dryer and report as well as report to my credit card company because this is not the right way to treat people. If you are going to sell a high price item it better be worthwhile is all I can say. ... show more

This product is counterfeit. I bought this as a gift for a friend. Worked fantastic for a few months then all the sudden a bunch of smoke blew out the back and it died. She tried taking it to Dyson for warranty; however, they said they did not recognize the serial number. This was a huge waste of $700. I got mine a few days ago. It arrived in pristine condition and no problems thus far. I wish I read the reviews of it being fake before I purchased it. I hope it's not true. It's working great, as expected, so far.
