This redesigned tool should have a longer life than the original one. The air rotor bearing shouldn't get hair wadded up in it. That's what took out the original one.

I am glad I got it. My wife and I both have long hair, and we need something that doesn't tangle. This is the tool you need. You will need to purchase an adaptor if you are using a V17.

The Dyson vacuum cleaner that supports this tool is a complete waste of money, and the tool itself is too small, almost made entirely of plastic, does not work and is totally useless. I purchased the Dyson after doing due diligence, but find it more than a waste of money, and this particular tool is absolutely ridiculous. Do not buy this product. ... show more
