I got this chair for an elderly woman. I chose this one because according to the description it would be a good fit for size. IT IS PERFECT!!! (she is about 5 feet tall) She loves it. It arrived much sooner than I expected. Went together easily and operates as described. I was surprised at the excellent quality of the fabric and comfort of the cushioning. It is somewhat firm, giving her good support without being too stiff. The heat and massage were not a factor in choosing this chair, but it is so nice she does not want to turn it off. After searching all the local retailers for a replacement chair for our elderly mother we ran across this for about 1/2 the price of a store bought chair that was also going to take 3 months to get. We ordered this and had it in 3 days! The chair is simple to assemble, with solid construction and great electronic features. It is nice looking and matches our decor perfectly (so says my wife) We were completely blown away with all this and the money we saved.     • Comfortable recliner, everything works great, easy to assemble

This recliner arrived in two boxes and my husband was able to assemble it by himself without tools. It works exactly as promised, with the head and feet reclining separately. The motor works nice and slow so that you can set the recline exactly how you want it. It took a little practice to get used to the remote settings which are all in pictographs. The feet down button works to put your feet down and then lift the chair. If you don't want the chair to lift you have to remember to stop pressing it. The heat and massage are in the lumbar (back) part of the chair only. It's a nice feature, but not the reason we bought it. The chair when fully reclined is definitely comfortable enough to nap in, which I did as soon as it was set up. The only problem is that the chair is too big for its intended user, my mother. I didn't read the description carefully enough, where it states it's for 5'3" to 5'7" and she is under 5 feet. My bad. I contacted the company and they were very accommodating about a return and refund. ... show more

This is a wonderful find, I mean this chair and the company! Both are top notch, good quality. The chair is very sturdy and works well, everything is just as it says. It is very comfortable for my 91 year old mom, as it is proportioned for a smaller or elderly person. Some other good things are: It was delivered in a timely manner, the material and pattern are really nice; the quality of the other materials used in this chair were excellent and it is not one that is too squishy soft, so the person sinks in to the chair, rather it’s comfortable and holds it’s shape, so the person, especially seniors, are able to keep their bones and backs aligned better. The only problem was a bracket was bent. The company was fast to resolve my problem with a quality answer! It feels good to know there are still companies that make great products and care about the customer! Buy the chair! ... show more

    • Small chair with a big seat

The chair arrived in 2 boxes and took about 20 minutes to assemble. The instructions were so faint, they were illegible but the assembly was obvious. Once assembled the chair was 29" wide which is fine for a smaller room. The seat was 22" wide which seems to be standard and leaves me plenty of room to move around. One of the power supplies was missing but and note to the manufacturer soon had one on its way and I could have some heat and massage. I, like most people who want a recliner lift chair, have difficulty in getting in and out and this was the 3rd chair i bought before I fond one I could easily use. The seat will rise before it starts to tip you out so the height on entry is adjustable. The arms are very sturdy and the wooden section is easy to grab hold of if you are struggling to get in, or in danger of falling. Once in, the chair is designed for a smaller person, around 5'6" or less and I am 5'10" and manage very nicely. It is well padded and very comfortable and I fell asleep in mine this afternoon.
