Description

It’s possible for eliminating insects to be both effective and stylish. The DynaTrap Mosquito and Insect Trap with Pole Mount is designed to blend seamlessly into your indoor and outdoor décor while delivering three layers of protection against flying insects such as mosquitoes. Each trap provides up to ½ acre of coverage. The easy-to-use pole stand makes placing your DynaTrap extremely simple. Just assemble the stand, place near insect activity, and turn it on. Once turned on, the UV fluorescent bulb generates a warm light, attracting insects. The innovative twist on/off feature allows you to easily turn the trap on or off and also ensures insects remain securely inside the trap even when it is turned off. This DynaTrap Insect Trap provides not one, not two, but three layers of protection against flying insects such as mosquitoes, biting flies, wasps, moths, and more. The UV bulb uses warmth and light to attract insects while the trap’s coating emits a scent similar to human breath (carbon dioxide) that mosquitoes find irresistible. Once the insects are close to the trap, the whisper-quiet fan traps them inside until the time of disposal.

  • 5 stars for mosquito catching- 0 stars for replacement of light bulb!
Pattern Name: Insect Trap
Ok so I have had mine since Feb 2023- catches the bugs and does the job. The bulb just went out and what I wish I had known before today was what a pain in the absolute rear to replace the bulb. Involves multiple compartments and screws and latches and my goodness who designed this stupid thing??? And now I have a machine with a working bulb and non working fan. It is absolutely ridiculous. I am seeking my handy brother in law’s assistance and I will update this review when I can. Bottom Line: You’ll be happy for about 9 months and then you’ll have to change the bulb. I’m not kidding. ... show more

  • Tried 2 of them and the stand is worthless, sending back
Pattern Name: Insect Trap
As in some of the other reviews, I can confirm that the stand does not work well. It's very loose and wobbly. No matter how tight you tighten the hardware, there is something missing with the stand that makes it not stand straight up. It's as if it's going to topple over with the weight of the trap. I had one of these units in the past, and it worked fine, but ironically, the stand broke on it, so I was replacing it. I can not recommend it. ... show more

  • Great product
Pattern Name: Insect Trap
Works great, fast assembly. Gets way more bugs than you ever knew were around. Make sure to put it away from where you are in the evenings. Attracts the bugs to the area, so that can be annoying. But we put it in our patio when we’re not out there all the time and it’s effective.

  • Does a great job, but Buyer be aware...
Pattern Name: Insect Trap
First, let me start off as saying, this is a great product. In fact, I have two Dynatraps. It catches lots of bugs and keeps the yard mostly bug free. There are two issues with product. One is, the replacement bulbs are a pain to change. You have to go up under trap (fan) and unscrew 4 tiny screws and then inside, bulb is held in place by another screw with a tab. It's not difficult, but you have to change the bulb every 3-4 months,( I use it for 8 months) and the unit is plastic, and taking the screws out several time, does strip them. There needs to be a better design for bulb replacement. Second issue is, the pole. The pole is great for hiding most of the electric cord. However, on one of my traps, (4 years old) the middle plastic bracket snapped off. The electric cord is threaded thru the pole. There is no replacing it and there is no way to feed cord with plug thru the pole. So it is useless. I have a dynatrap that works when plugged in but cannot use it because it is attached to a broken pole. It would be better if there was a way to get the cord with plug out so that I could just hang the Dynatrap on a hook. That said, I do like this product and am buying a new Dynatrap. However, I will be purchasing the one that I can use a sheppard's hook with. ... show more

  • Great machine, Don’t buy Dynatrap with pole as pole is poorly constructed
Pattern Name: Insect Trap
Buyer beware. Dynatrap works great, I purchased 2 of them. However, when we put both of them together, they leaned. I sent one back thinking it was missing a piece at the bottom and they sent me a replacement. But the other one in the box was the same way and the new one came in that way as well. I was very upset. We ended up cutting the end of the cord off, pulling cord out of the pole and taking the pole off of the Dynatrap setup. My husband then put new ends on cords and we mounted them on the posts outdoors. They are so much better this way. So if you buy, don’t buy the ones already on the poles. Not worth it. ... show more

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE DYNATRAP!!!
Pattern Name: Insect Trap
We live out in a new community which is still very close to remaining farm lands and country-like property ...aka homes to lots of buggies and critters. After treating our home several times with our local pest control we noticed that our beautiful patio was still unpleasant to enjoy from flies, moths, beatles and of course those darn mosquitoes!!! I remembered my sister had purchased a DynaTrap for her 1/2 acre lot and thought heck if she can get rid of her buggy problem on bigger property than mine then we should have no issues getting rid of our buggy problems too! So I ordered mine!!! After receiving our DynaTrap on a Saturday, I assembled immediately. (Instructions were extremely simple) And of course, I placed it out on our back patio right away. Today is Tuesday, and I have already noticed a huge improvement. Even the pesky houseflies that always somehow found their way into the house are GONE!!! Last night when I let our pup out, I also noticed that there were no bugs flying around the second I flipped the patio light on. My husband checked the trap and found tons of dead buggies and easily disposed of them. I am in love with DynaTrap!!! And I’m sure I’m helping my neighbors with their pest problem since it covers a huge radius! LOL ... show more

  • Does the job, quiet and charming
Pattern Name: Insect Trap
This product is awesome. I was tired of spraying a mosquito fogger each morning and evening, burning Citronelle candles and spraying Repellents on myself several times a day and buying more every 2-3 weeks so I could sit on my back patio. And my flowers were getting sick from the candles burning so often. The 1st morning I experimented, I did spray myself once and I did fine, did same the 2nd day to be sure. The 3rd day and since no more repellents for me, no mosquitoes no gnats or flying pests bothering me or basically in sight. My patio is screened but I have a lot of potted flowers so there is standing water in the draining pans, I figured if this thing works for up to 1/2 an acre outdoors certainly it should solve my problem and it did. I did not want a zapper it's distracting and unpleasant. This is less than a whisper quiet, I don't hear a thing. Only been a couple a of weeks, but so far I love it and it looks beautiful! ... show more
