I've only had this for a month and the pump has stopped working. I only have it on, at most, about 4 hours a day. Some days I don't use it at all. I use filtered water and I even change the water. What a shame because when it did work, it was beautiful. However, a product that stops working after only a month is completely unacceptable. Updating to 4 stars from one star I finally got the pump to start working again after a few days. I had to unplug and re-plug it multiple times then it started working again.

The pump can be noisy, but it's due to vibration and or contaminate in the water. This has been running since I purchased it and I enjoy the white noise in the office setting.

The media could not be loaded. I really like it! Noise levels are good! Aesthetically cute and small! And compact! I will advise you NOT to put rock or crystals into the pockets as one reviewer said. I tried that and it almost changed my rating b/c I thought that the item wasn't giving what it was supposed to give. The issue was that the items GREATLY impact the sound of the water flow. For best results, I would just let the water run. The product was a lot smaller than I wanted, and so I will probably order a bigger one, but this little glowing ball at the top won me over for keeping it. It's too cute and changes colors. The ONLY reason I'm not giving it a 5-star rating is b/c the flow doesn't seem to change that much between the 3 settings. That's the ONLY reason. Other than that, have fun! I think if you purchase the item, you won't be disappointed.
