Initially, I was just looking for shoes that were waterproof and these sure are. I filled a bucket of water and submerged them for a minute and they were dry to the touch. My main two qualms are: 1) It's not actually very breathable and 2) The soles are messed up. 1) I went on a 30 minute walk to break in the shoes and after I returned home, my feet were very warm and sweaty. It was 55 degrees F out at most and I did no running. 2) The sole of the left shoe was loose, but I gave the shoe a try anyways because it shouldn't matter too much if I'm stepping on to the loose section anyways. The main two issues are the soles are being a tad too high and the right shoe's sole has an annoying bump right under my toes that the other shoe's sole does not have. It feels like my right foot's toes are scraping over a mini hill if I scrunch them. Overall it's still waterproof, being the main reason I purchased it for. I’m on my feet around ten hours a day. And I hate to break in new work shoes it’s never fun.. my overall opinion of the shoes is that they’re very durable and very comfy!! They kinda just molded to my feet!! There was no adjusting to these shoes cuz they just fix wonderfully!! The only thing I’m not sure of is they are suppose to be waterproof however the way they are made I just don’t see how. But we will see and I will share. I purchased this item because I needed some water proof shoes to walk through morning dew and on occasion light rain. After having them for a few weeks I’ve come to find they’re not actually waterproof! If there’s even a slight drizzle I come home with my feet drenched and pruny. They’re fine shoes otherwise. I'm actually very impressed with the shoes so far. I bought them cause I needed a water resistant shoe that had better traction than the shoes I had or work in a kitchen. Thought it'd be nice for them to have a hard toe as well. I was not expecting much from an offbrand from Amazon for 50ish bucks but the slip resistantace is perfect. Not quite "waterproof" but definitely resistant. I sprayed water directly on it to see and it worked fine but I can't imagine you can submerge your foot for long. Haven't tried it though. They don't seem to be of the best quality but they perform great so far given the cost. All in all I recommend these if you need a good work shoe. ... show more
