I'm actually very impressed with the shoes so far. I bought them cause I needed a water resistant shoe that had better traction than the shoes I had or work in a kitchen. Thought it'd be nice for them to have a hard toe as well. I was not expecting much from an offbrand from Amazon for 50ish bucks but the slip resistantace is perfect. Not quite "waterproof" but definitely resistant. I sprayed water directly on it to see and it worked fine but I can't imagine you can submerge your foot for long. Haven't tried it though. They don't seem to be of the best quality but they perform great so far given the cost. All in all I recommend these if you need a good work shoe. ... show more

The product is as advertised. It has a steel toe, and fits well. Once I have tested it for water resistance I will know if it meets the needs of walking in the rain. It is not very stylish but a practical and comfortable shoe.

They don't keep water out. I was trying to find a cheaper resistant for my old Vessis so i got these. I work in a kitchen and around dishwashers. They don't keep water out unfortunately. They are comfortable and the hard toe is nice. They also are slip resistant.

Lil bit tight around top part actually had tu cut sides so I could get my feet in ,size is good bit wish toe area would be a lil bigger ,best part I work In very wet areas n my feet have stayed dried .maybe buy bigger size...I 6 n bought a 6 ..next I'll try 61/2

These DYKHMILY Steel Toe sneakers are great shoes to wear. They're steel-toed and durable. They're great in the rain. I call these shoes my rain boots/sneakers hybrid. For me they worked great at the beach some weeks ago. Since they're high-tops, I didn't have to fight and shake sand out of my shoes, or worry about water on them. The water rolled off, didn't flood my socks or get them wet, and even with all the extra walking, my feet didn't feel as tired as they would in low-top shoes. The one thing I've noticed, however, is that the bottom sole of the shoe is starting to peel off some. I've only worn the shoes about half a dozen times since my purchase and noticed this. It's nothing major, but it is something to be aware of when ordering them. I can also admit that they're comfortable to me. Even with occasional swelling issues, I don't feel as though my feet or toes are being crushed or are uncomfortable. And they're high-tops, which means that they make me feel taller and give me better arch support than most sneakers have ever given me. They're great for walking outdoors. If you work in a fast-paced industry, you'll find these shoes to be great on your feet for those long hard days. According to what I'd read at Amazon, I needed only to order my size. So with that said, I ordered a size 12 to match my size 12 shoes. What I learned when the shoes arrived, however, is that the top of the shoe where you insert your foot is relatively small. For someone whose feet may swell (my foot swelling is hereditary, unfortunately), this means that the shoes may or may not fit at all. I decided to do a little DIY on my sneakers by slightly cutting the top opening down the middle. Additionally, with my feet swelling, I've also removed the lace slots so that my feet now have room without needing laces. I would've gone laceless regardless of which size I ordered. See the pictures above. Now I realize some may not want to modify their sneakers, but for those who don't want to spend so much time in the store, a few minutes of DIY can make a pair of sneakers even better. Overall, these sneakers are a great addition to my shoe collection. I purchased two pairs and intend to purchase again in the future. For now, though, I'm anticipating these shoes will last for a few years. ... show more

Fits well, comfortable fit. Don't look like clunky steel toed shoes. The soles degraded and I wore off the material covering the toe box, but it took daily use for a few years.
