The high heat-resistant Duratread outsole is oil- and slip-resistant and passes hot contact tests at 300°C/572°F.     • Best work boots ever!
These boots are the next best thing to wearing tennis shoes as far as being comfortable. I work in a weld shop and steel toe boots are required. I would recommend going to a actual boot store and measuring your foot before ordering online. I had originally bought my first pair at a store 30 miles from my house. However with my work schedule, I don't always have time to drive 30 minutes for work boots. The boots'serial number is located on the inside of the boot and I was able to type it into the search box and it pulled the same style and size as my original pair. Also Amazon has the Ariat inserts for these boots so that when it comes time to order a replacement for your boots you can do it on here as well. When wearing a round toe boot, my pinky toe would endure a lot of pain because I have wide feet. I wear a size 12 round toe boot. However with square toe you will actually go down one size. It's the width I would recommend getting a measurement for. Plus with square toe, I can completely stretch my toes and wiggle them. The breaking-in of these boots are painless as well. Usually work boots it takes a few weeks to break them before they are comfortable. That's not the case with these. I'm on my feet in these boots 10 - 12 hours/ day. ... show more

I use these for work as a heavy diesel mechanic. These boots fit a little better than expected. I have usually had a substantial amount of heal slip with non lace up boots, but with these there is almost non. Great boot.

Ordered them and thought they a perfect never thought I’d buy work boots online but they are fantastic.... tip... went to boot barn tried on exact pair then bought here saved me about 50.00 dollars

    • Very unhappy all the way around.
Tried these on at a local store, they didn't have my size so I tried a 12 wide and they were comfortable but a size too big (as expected) so I decided to look on Amazon. Ordered an 11 wide and boots showed up a couple days later. One boot was significantly tighter than the other but decided to try to break them in. My foot didn't last 30 minutes before I had substantial pain, decided to return the boots hoping there wouldn't be an issue but it just got worse from there. I paid $6.00 to have the boots picked up the next day, got them all boxed up and set next to the door so they would be ready to go. Unfortunately, my wife watched the delivery driver run up and put the return label on our door and then run back to the truck without knocking or picking up the boots. This really irritates me since I paid to have them picked up and now I lose another $6 and I get to try and figure out how to return these boots while working 60 hour weeks. Thanks for nothing, I'll never order boots or clothing from Amazon again. ... show more

Good fit from the first day. Hard to find a square steel toe. I like the extra room you get in the toe. I wear a thick sock for more cushioning. I put in a average 12hr day all on my feet and on concrete. I will check back in a few to tell you how they are holding up

Fits as expected. This is my second pair, and if they last as long as my first pair, I will be ecstatic. It takes a day or two to break them in, then they fit very well. I stand for 9-10 hours a day without pain or fatigue.

I have owned many work boots, Bates, Carhartt, RedWings, 5.11, etc. These are by far the best construction, Fit, and Finish of them all.
