These shoes are amazing at an especially affordable price. Whether work or recreation, they have a lot of nice features. Also, the fit is spot on. I have 8.5 men size foot, but went with a 9 just in case. 8.5 would've fit with no problem. -The insoles not only feel durable, but have gel padding on the ball and heel of your foot, allowing a lot of comfort. I work 8+ hours a day lifting hundreds of pound of meat and my feet always feel good. -The steel toe is thick enough to drop a lit of weight on or kick something without feeling any pain while still being thin enough to not notice it's even there. -Out of the box it was a little slippery; however, after a few shifts, I started to feel a really good and strong grip on concrete, tile, and wet metal. All of this without the squeaking sound on other anti-slip shoes. -One of the key features I needed was waterproof. I work with blood and a lot of high pressure water, and these shoes fit the bill. After dumping buckets of water and hosing them, I felt only the water on my ankles. All in all, these are extremely valuable, really well made shoes for a good price. My husband works with a lot of water at the end of his shift to clean equipment. He worked with these shoes for a week and water started coming through. I am unsure if this shoes just had a part where it wasn’t resistant but we won’t be buying them again. We read the reviews and were a little skeptical because people had good reviews. These shoes are not as said in the description. It’s not lightweight, not water resistant or waterproof. It’s very uncomfortable and the steel toe part hurts ur toes at the edges. I have been trying to find a strong shoe with good support for some time. This one seems to meet the test. This shoe provides good support and helps to prevent my left ankle from rolling in since the heal is wide enough to provide good support. I usually wear slip on shoes but can't seem to get the support needed without a higher ankle rise that comes from a lace up shoe. I lace it up and use a show horn to slip on with a good amount of tightness to maintain a snug fit. When it comes to comfort it takes some time depending on the shoes and your feet to adjust to the steel toe inside the shoe for example. When purchasing my first pair it felt comfortable the entire time, but unlike my third or fourth pair because of the type of work that I do I wear out these shoes quickly. Whit this new pair, it took some time for my right foot to adjust to the steel toe because of the cushion moving around in the shoe at the time it would kind of be uncomfortable because it kept on rubbing up against my small toe. either than that I love these shoes also side note for all new buyers for these shoes please look at the universal size cuz I made a mistake of buying an 11 and a half in women instead of men sometime back with one of my past purchases. and Trust me it was uncomfortable for some time but after a while, they adjusted to my feet. so I can truly say they are forgiving in some way when it comes to size but depending on the size that you get. I know I could have sent these back and got them exchanged but I wore out of my previous pair so I needed some shoes for work the next day. ... show more
