This inflator is pretty slick. It is very small and is very light. I'm going to put it in my wife's minivan for her to use in emergencies. She will have no problem carrying it around. The entire unit is plastic and feels cheap, but it works and I suppose that's really all that matters. If it were built with more substantial materials it would probably be quite a bit heavier. There is an LED light in one end of the unit which is not super bright but is more than adequate to light up the area you are working in to inflate a low tire. It has cords in the bottom for 12v cigarette lighter use or 120v home AC use. For 12v use it seems to inflate slower. We have an inverter in the car, so we will use it that way. It inflates pretty quick with AC. The large volume inflator for mattresses and pool toys is kind of slow too. But again, it works. The power cord is VERY long and I have no problem getting to all four tires of the van. The pockets the cords are stowed in are probably my largest complaint. They are a very tight fit. It takes a little work too get the cords back in once removed. But if it saves you a tire change in an emergency, a few extra minutes of time packing it back up once you get home is probably worth it!

I didn’t need my tires inflated so I got the air mattress to see how well this works and it took less than ten minutes to pump up a queen sized mattress. Not bad at all. It’s small enough to keep in my car trunk and not lose space. The cord on this is pretty long which I really like. This is definitely worth buying.

I had a chance to pick up this inflator pump through the Amazon Vine program, and I'm glad I did. It is not particularly inexpensive for a small pump--but it's definitely more versatile than most. I have a name brand six-gallon 150 PSI air compressor that is fairly portable and will readily handle all my tire inflation needs at home for my autos, tractor, mower, and RV. However, that small compressor--though portable--can't go with me in my vehicle, and even if it could it's driven by 120-volt AC power only so would be of no use on the road. This little AstroAI unit has both a 120-volt AC plug and a 12-volt DC socket connector, so it can run on any type of power. If that's not enough, it can also be battery powered (but the batteries are sold separately). In addition to quick tire inflation, the unit comes with accessories to inflate a variety of low-pressure items such as swimming pools and beach toys. It's a pretty simple matter to pitch this compact unit in the trunk of your car and be prepared for just about any air inflation job you might run across at home or on the road. Although it is a small unit, performance so far has been effective, and it has done everything that I've asked it to do. The versatility of this air compressor makes it highly useful, and it's handy to have around.

I really like this air compresser. I was able to use it with ease to blow up a pool, a wobble bubble ball and my tires. Almost every attachment has a storage spot on the air compresser, which is a plus. The only thing negative I have to say about the air compresser itself is that the compartment for the cords are not big enough. You have to bend and shove to get them inside, which can't be good for the cords in the long run. It wouldn't be so terrible if it wasn't underneath the machine, so you have to leave the plug end outside of the compartment for the machine to sit level. BATTERY AND CHARGER IMPORTANT READ: Now as for the battery and charger not being included for the price doesn't seem right. I was originally just disappointed as we planned on bringing it to the beach with us this weekend. So I searched through their store to find the battery to purchase, and I found what looks to be the exact item for only $3 more, from the same seller, that includes the battery and charger. And it has the one without the battery(that as far as I can tell by pics and description to be identical to this one) for $27 LESS! On top of that, the battery itself is $30 and DOES NOT include the charger, which is an additional $20. Now, maybe there is something I am not seeing that justifies why this item is far more expensive from a seemingly identical one, so before you purchase this check it out for yourself If I hear from the seller I will update with the new information.

This AstroAI Portable Air Compressor is mostly for tire inflation, but it actually can inflate balls, bike tires, air mattresses & etc. What I really like about this inflator, other than its varied uses, is the fact that you can power it multiple ways as well. I have an old tire inflator that requires DC power from your car & your car has to be running while you're using the tire inflator. With this device, you have your choice of using either DC power, an AC outlet, or use a 20 volt cordless battery (battery & charger not included). All in all, this is a very useful air compressor that does more than most.

This is a must-have for all car owners who want tire pressure check portability. I carry this compressor in my car at all times, and it provides a sense of relief knowing that my tires are in good hands if low on pressure. There's a light and both inflate/deflate functionality as well. The PSI can be set and the compressor will inflate up to that desired pressure. The compressor isn't heavy at all. The power cords both AC and DC are long enough to accommodate long distance from the power source.
