Why did you pick this product vs others?: The price was unbeatable, and it was very easy to assemble. It’s definitely on the flimsy side, though—reinforcing it with wood is a must to make it sturdier. Size: If you’re planning to add plywood, I’d suggest using two 4x8 sheets and cutting them to fit. Be sure to go with green-treated wood for durability. Weight: Two people can move it short distances, but for the fully built version, you’ll want four people to avoid any risk of bending or damage. Looks: Adorable design that already matches my siding! There are quite a few gaps, though, so keep that in mind depending on what you’re using it for and where you live. In the winter it gets -40⁰F and that wont do for my flock. Sturdiness: Definitely not heavy-duty, but for the price, it’s great if you’re up for a DIY project. It won’t hold up to hail—we found that out the hard way right after assembling. I’ll add photos soon. Holes alignment: Honestly, the trickiest part of the build. But hey—“any hole’s a goal,” right? If things don’t line up perfectly, just make your own, as long as the metal’s aligned. Go for it. Value for money: Absolutely worth it. My hens love it! It does get pretty hot in direct sunlight, though—an openable window would make a world of difference. Biggest issues with the shed: - The door is really difficult to close. It takes a lot of effort every time. - It gets pretty warm inside, especially on hot days. - It's quite flimsy as delivered. I wouldn’t bet on it standing up to a bear, honestly. Before we reinforced it, I worried a strong gust of wind might carry it away. For now, we’ve added buried steel posts to help. - Pretty sure I didn’t get enough nuts—had plenty of bolts with no matching nuts. Might be a nut-stealing gnome lurking around my yard. Still under investigation. Biggest pros with the shed: - At 5'4", I can walk in comfortably without bumping my head. If you’re taller, you might need to lean a bit. I do have to duck slightly at the doorway, but it’s not a big deal. - The price is fantastic if you’re willing to put in a little time and effort to customize it. - Most importantly—my hens feel safe and settled in, which makes the whole setup worth it. Tips: - Use a screwgun, save yourself the hassleof their screwdriver. Its a nice addition to have but the auto gun with anti stripper on is the way to go. - Put the shed together at night if you have mosquitoes or its awfully hot. - Build where you plan on putting the shed. Please dont do what we did. A quote from my dad: "its a nice little shed, looks nice. We'll have to put a support up in the roof before winter" and he nodded. Father approved. ... show more

This shed works great. It wasn't to hard to put together got it done in a few days. The only thing is that some of the holes don't match up so you have to create your own but other then that it is amazing

The price is great. But it took my husband 2 days or total of 18hrs to finally built this and a lot of sealant! Some screws missing, and few days after t'was built, it rained hard, we noticed some water leaking inside. It seems sturdy other than that. Could easily fit of 20 standard bin size and few more boxes. An adult bike can fit inside it too. It's been built for 2 months and some rust are starting to show. This will be ok just for temporary shed. ... show more

Im pretty happy with this shed. I got it for a chicken coop. Took me and my friend a day to build. The food was a pain, their screw holes dont line up, instructions are hard to read, but it did go together. We had to drill some new holes into the metal but that's easy. The doors were pretty hard to build and are a little off line. But still work. Modifications are definitely needed but it can be built. Perfect for a chicken coop. I added extra windows and also 2x4s around the inside. Adding fans this week too. The metal is thin and easy to cut, drill amd work with. I also used liquid nail. ... show more
