All the pieces interlock very intentionally, so if you mess up something you pretty much have to take it apart and start over. For the weight it bears though, it makes total sense. It took me and my husband about 4 hours to put together, however, we probably could've shaved about an hour off that had we not made any mistakes. We've been using this stand for almost 3 years now, and it is exactly what we needed. I’m really impressed with this stand! At first the directions looked very over whelming but once I started it wasn’t at all. Directions say you need two people, it’s very helpful but not necessary. I’m a single mom and was able to do it with my 12 year old son, says it will take you about a half hour and it took us almost exactly an hour. I love the convenience of the side outlet! Directions say it takes about a half. Lots of storage options. I don’t see us putting another tank in the bottom so I’m looking into bins to set there. The door is a little more see through then the pictures but I don’t care. The metal on the door and top shelf are sturdier than I expected and the door has a magnet option which is great! ... show more

It's a good solid stand and looks great. If I had to list anything negative I would have to say it's a little too high I wish it was a little shorter. And I wish they had a rubber mat on top because when you get water on top it bubbles almost instantly and the laminate peels would be nice to have it cover glued on to it to prevent that. Works great. Still holding up after a few months. No bowing or creaking. The cabinet door did come with a little dent, but it was entirely cosmetic damage. Wasn't missing any parts. The shelf holds power strips and everything great. The cabinet door stays shut, while I do wish there was some kind of sound dampener so the metal clanging wasn't so loud, those can always be bought separately. I'd say it was worth the money. This one surprised me with how cheap it cost, but how solid of a build it turned out to be so far. It took a little while to assemble, and having 2 people makes it much easier. Fits my 5g, 20g long (on top), and 10g (bottom) well, but I do wish it had a sturdier plug/more outlets. For 1 or 2 tanks its great, as I have excess tanks I need more surge protectors than what is included. ... show more

First, this is a very sturdy and beautiful stand. Solid construction. Easy to level with very good feet. Packaging was typical and ok. They do use the cheap styrofoam so you get that stuff everywhere when you unbox it. There was only slight damage on the backboard insert that did not affect anything after it was installed (was a little tough to get that part in the groove but it went). Assembly is fairly straightforward IF they would have sent the correct parts. As you can see in the pictures, they sent two #9 parts and left out the #10. 9,10,11 are the main metal frame parts for the entire stand. #9 does not have the correct holes to install the shelf on the bottom right. Thankfully I am pretty handy and had all of the correct tools to drill the holes in the second #9 piece to make it work. Took at least an extra hour for this. I did not want the hassle of trying to return it or wait to see if they would send the correct part (I did not call to inquire, so I do not know how that would have went). Everything put together, looks great, very sturdy. Put the 75 gallon tank on top, the built in outlet on the right side is a nice detail. Put the 20 gallon tank on the bottom..... find out there is no room to access the top of the tank because of the shelf. If you need a HOB filter for the 20 gal, it likely will not fit. If it does fit, there will be no way to service it without pulling the whole tank out. Not ideal. I only use a sponge filter for my female axolotl in that tank so I can deal with it. There is not enough room on that shelf to store much because it is so short. Currently only have a couple of fish nets there. I will probably take it out to make more room to get into the tank. Super frustrating considering I spent the extra hour drilling out the holes in the incorrect part they sent just to be able to install that shelf!!! I guess that is my fault for not measuring and paying attention to detail. Hopefully their quality control gets better and you get the correct parts because it is a very nice stand. ... show more

First off I’m going to warn, this product contains FIBERGLASS. The instructions were very vague and many mistakes were made and corrected. Took two people about 3 hours to build. I was then greeted with the fact that my hands were on fire and after inspecting, everything including my hands and clothing were covered in fiberglass. I assume it came from the packaging as there isn’t a ton on the table itself. I give the table 3 stars as the product itself seems very nice, but I can’t get over the fiberglass. Just a warning before purchasing would’ve been enough. I wouldn’t bought something else or built it outside where this wouldn’t have been an issue. ... show more
