I had to replace both rear wheel bearing hubs on my Forester and did not have a breaker bar with 1/2" drive (actually do but could not locate it). So, since I knew I did not have a breaker bar with 3/8" drive, I decided to just invest in this set. I used the 1/2" drive breaker bar to remove the axle nut and the 3/8" drive breaker bar to break the brake caliper and hub bolts free. They were all on there pretty good and I can say the tools worked perfectly. I am not a garage mechanic, so these are not going to see daily use. The set is decent for the value but the 3/8 was weak. Broke while trying to remove a 3/4 rusted bolt off of my suspension arm.
