Used for engineered wood floors
Used for engineered wood floors because my old floors had the exact same one. Seems to work perfectly.

Creates a quieter and more comfortable living space
This underlayment has transformed my living space into a quieter, more peaceful environment. The exceptional soundproofing properties have significantly reduced the noise from footsteps and other daily activities. One of the standout features of this underlayment is its rubber composition, which provides excellent noise reduction and acts as a protective layer for my floors. Since using this product, I have noticed a significant decrease in wear and tear on my laminate flooring. Knowing that my floors are well-protected from damage gives me peace of mind. The installation process was a breeze. The underlayment is easy to lay down, and the instructions provided were clear and concise. I appreciate the ease and convenience it brings to the overall flooring project. What truly sets this underlayment apart is its long-lasting durability. I believe it will hold up well over time, maintaining its soundproofing and protective qualities. Additionally, its superior noise reduction capabilities have made my living space much quieter, allowing for a more relaxing and enjoyable environment. Overall, I highly recommend the Premium Flooring Underlayment for Laminate. It enhances the soundproofing of any space and ensures floor protection and easy installation. This product has exceeded my expectations, and I am extremely satisfied with its performance.

Heavy, Well Made Strong & Durable Bonded Material that Quiets Sound & Retains Shape!
This DURA-Son flooring underlayment is heavy and well made. My biggest fear with hardwood and laminate flooring is that traffic or shifting will deteriorate the underlayment within a few years. This underlayment is made of bonded materials, looks very tough and should endure for a long time. Other than having been in a roll this underlayment lays flat and makes the job easier. The sound reduction is apparent during intallation because there is a lack of echo in the room. I am very happy with this underlayment. I researched the price of other underlayments and did not find that this DURA-Son overly expensive. The price is relative to the quality of underlayment a person wants to purchase. This underlayment does provide two things: an underlayment that is resilient and extra soundproofing in your home. Personally I perfer to pay a bit more for a great quality item and will be purchasing more of this underlayment when this roll is empty. Highly Recommended!!

Good underlayment
This Dura son flooring underlayment is good quality material. I replaced flooring in a small room and this worked good. It covers about a 10’ x 10’ area with the width at 4’. I feel it will hold up overtime. Easy to lay down.

Using Under Laminate Flooring
I had to pull up some laminate flooring in a room in our basement and realized that there is condensate underneath. I consulted a contractor friend who stated that's normal because the foundation takes in moisture from the ground. Still, I don't want it up against my LVP, so I got this Dura underlayment. It is mold and mildew resistant, so I feel better about having my kiddos in that room. The roll is large but easy to work with. The black side goes down on the subfloor with the paper-backed side on top. I rolled it out and cut with a simple pair of kitchen scissors, then joined it to the next section with duck tape. Easy peasy, and it adds some extra insulation from the cold concrete under the floor.

Nice underlayment
This underlayment is similar to other high quality products and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It quiet’s, protects and makes your floors comfortable to walk on and has some insulating qualities. I didn’t install it over a heated floor so I can’t say anything about it. I can say it holds up to any other product I’ve installed. What I appreciate most is that it’s 95% reused material. Now days in the building industry you hear terms like carbon footprint, building envelope, mini splits and net zero almost as much as you hear about lumber prices in the building industry. It says a lot about how views are changing about environmental sustainability in an industry that has historically resisted that change. Having a high quality option that is environmentally friendly for underlayment makes a great selling point.

This is okay!
Nice underlayment, easy to install, but it did start falling apart on us during install. It makes me nervous what it will look like underneath if we ever decide to rip up the flooring and re-do it.
