  • Long lasting tire for a tourer
This is the fourth time I buy this tire. I got around 22K touring miles in a Victory Cross Country. Then I got about 16K in an Indian Roadmaster but riding backroads, some of them really nasty. This is a dual compound tire. It has a soft compound on the sides so you have grip while turning and the center is hard to achieve longevity. The only difference I noticed compared to a regular tire is when raining, if you accelerate hard at low speed it can slip. I'll keep buying it until I find something better. It is expensive but not much more as others, the 20-30 dollars of difference you get back in miles ridden. ... show more
