Purchased this strip to use under my kitchen cabinets to brighten up the counters. It was much longer than what I needed so I figured I could double or triple up the strip if it wasn't bright enough. The ability to change the color was a bonus. However the white color was not bright enough and did not give off a nice white tone to use in the kitchen. this is more suited for a party room or perhaps behind a TV, to add a splash of color on a wall in a dim room. I bought these for my teenage daughter for her room. She had another set in the past but we were redoing her room and had to get replacements. I bought these based on the reviews but I'm not completely happy. I wish I would have gotten another brand. I do love how easy they were to install and the tape was very sticky but not too sticky so you could adjust it without peeling paint. Her other set had a remote and was able to connect to an app that allowed her endless options for colors and fading etc. These ones, however, do not have an app and the functionality and customization is far less sophisticated. But I think the most annoying thing is that the remote sensor is extremely finicky and often takes having to get right by the sensor for it to work. Good thing her.room isn't HUGE but for those who have a big space, this would definitely be incredibly frustrating and a reason to return. We'll likely stick w these until they stop working and replace with a better set ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This product is top tier. For a little backstory I have for of these installed in a shipping container on my property. They have been here for 3 years of extreme temperature... The container is not insulated so it is either 15-20 degrees colder than the coldest temp or 15-20 degrees hotter. *These lights have been in 135 degree temps as well as -5. By the way im talking about Fahrenheit I dont live on one of Saturns Moons *They have been wet on a number of occasion, as there is no vapor barrier in laymen terms that means condesation builds up inside the container if it it warmer in the container than it is outside. That condensation drips down on the lights and settles there during late fall and early winter in the mornings typically. With all that activity I have only had 3 individual leds have any adverse effects. They still work but are a slightly different hue than the other leds on the string *The adhesion was not great but I blame that on the environment and installed using clear silicon I believe that has played a role in protecting the leds from the water so if you plan on installing somewhere moisture may be an issues using water proof silicon. Use a tub of it to make a bead where you want the lights to follow and press the lights into it using painters tape to secure it until it dries. **** Use that little tactic at your own risk, I havent had any failures but who knows *I also had one remote stopped working however my dog Aether 220lbs and in the video stepped on it recently so most remotes wont survive that. *If you have multiple strings one remote control will handle them all however if you have other remotes on the same frequency for instance a roku tv remote, some of the buttons will cause your lights to change color, fade in it out, pulse etc. *They are incredibly bright, the video will attest to that and although you cant hear it because I dont think amazon allows copyrighted music on videos posted It was a whole vibe in here, had some PND playing, bass was out of control and the lights were right on tune with the music. I have always bought LED string lights, 600 per 65.6 ft which comes out to 9 LED's per foot. I installed this string and noticed right away that these appeared dimmer. Then I noticed the difference. My other LED strips have 9 LEDS per foot. These DAYBETTER LED strips have 6 LEDS per foot. There is maybe 400 LEDS in these strips. I returned these and bought other LED strips that are 9 LEDS per foot, 600 per 65.6 ft. ... show more

I was able to use this 1 box for a roughly 12 Γ— 12 room with alot of extra we ended up running down 1 corner down the length of the baseboards. There were some places it didn't stick well but Command poster adhesive fixed that problem.
