This chandelier isn't super fancy, and doesn't have as many crystals as some others, but it has a nice elegant look to it and the size allows it to be used in a lot of different locations. The minimum height from the ceiling to the bottom of the lowest crystal is right about 24 inches using just a single chain link to attach the light to the ceiling. If it's installed somewhere that someone would walk under it, you would need about 8-1/2 foot ceilings or higher. Using more of the chain would get you up to 7 feet from ceiling to bottom for extra high ceilings. The installation is relatively easy. There are a few screws that need to be removed and reattached to move the arms into a circle. Note that the arms are not round but are flat, although heavyweight, pieces of metal, which I think cheapens the look a bit, but that's just personal preference. Some spare crystals are supplied in case any are broken during shipping or installation, so don't panic if you find a broken one. ... show more

This is a beautiful, 6 bulb crystal raindrop chandelier. The crystal glass is cut perfectly and shimmers in the light, a real eye catching fixture. It would look beautiful hung in a living room, entryway or dining room. If you're looking for some sophisticated glam I highly recommend this light.

I ordered this for my back foyer. The frame is preassembled but the crystals must be added individually. The look is very modern and beautiful. I can't wait to get this installed in my back foyer. So nice in person, better than I expected. The crystals are not attached but wrapped tightly and separated from one another to prevent breakage and scratching. The main metal frame is already assembled, you simply add the ceiling fixture and the crystals. Although I am not sure what room I will place this in I can see it working just about anywhere.
