If you want a bed frame for the sake of having one this one works perfectly fine. However, be wary of the color and the smell. The color of the wood is less “natural” and more “creamsicle” or “pale orange.” The wood has a sticker on it (forgot to photograph) that there have been complaints of the smell of formaldehyde (yikes! Why?). So clearly I did not do enough research before purchasing). Set up was fairly simple however the legs that aligned to the center of the bedframe are too short. When I installed them they “hovered” over the floor and made adjusting the center beam complicated because it twisted and rotated. Save your money and skip. Others are super pricey but as they say “cry once. Buy once” Please skip this item and search for a better one ... show more

Only issue is that the vertical support down the middle of the frame doesn't actually reach the ground (it's about a centimeter short) so it just dangles. This is a good bed frame for the price but there were some issues we had when putting it together. First, the slats were not straight on many boards so when you lay it on the frame, some slats didn’t fit well. We had to force it down which was kind of frightening because it felt like the boards were going to break. Second, the cuts on the support pieces were not even. The middle section that has the legs attached to provide middle support, had three legs with varying lengths. Once we screwed it on, one was touching the floor slightly while the other two were not. We couldn’t do anything about it. The last thing we’re the boards which were warped so when the rectangle frame was set up, you had a side that was touching but another corner that was slightly lifted. The frame is cheap and once you put it together, you can make do with it, but it’s not a bed frame that feels like it will last or if it was manufactured with care.
