DUMOS Twin Size Metal Platform Bed Frame We’ve had this bedframe in use for a while now and it’s holding up well. It’s a nice simple design and wasn’t difficult to put together. My husband and daughter worked together, him mostly supervising, and we’re done in roughly an hour from opening the box to making the bed. It’s sturdy, and doesn’t squeak so far and we’re hopeful.     • Sturdy enough for a skinny adult, though not without some issues.
As far as what I need, that being a thing to put my mattress on that has a headboard exactly like my old frame didn't, this fulfills that niche. I did not enjoy the assembly. Not at all. There's a lot of screws and you're not supposed to tighten them all the way until the very end where it's as hard as it can get to reach them all. I hate using tiny hex keys because they're hard on my fingers, but even using other tools I still didn't like the cramped access. Still, this is not the worst offender as far as furniture assembly goes. I also do not like that the metal bends when you tighten the screws. This makes me think that it would not handle being reassembled very well. Eventually metal fatigue is going to cause the frame to fail. If you want to move it, you're probably going to want to disassemble at least some of it to get it through doors. There is nothing to keep your mattress from sliding side to side. Someone could pull or shove it clean off and it would not take all that much effort. This could be a plus, though, as being able to slide the bed gives you access to outlets that may be against the wall on the side of the bed. If you live with rowdy dads or older children, though, maybe don't tell them about this weakness. The wood is thinner than I expected but it's still pretty nice and not expected to do any structural duty. All in all it just makes the frame lighter, which is fine by me. It's not 'real' wood. It's laminated, but that's what I expected so it's fine, and it looks fine. ... show more

We got this for the grandkids room and it's just right for the little ones. It was OK to put together, the wood finish is beautiful and it has great storage space fornthr kids toy containers and blankets. I wouldn't use it for overweight people as it's not super sturdy but all in all, it's a great bed for the little ones. ... show more

This bed was just perfect for our spare bedroom. It was very easy to assemble and looks great once assembled. It is very durable and sturdy and our twin mattress fit perfectly on it. (Note that a mattress is not included) We didn't even need to use a box spring, which is great. I love that there is large space underneath where I can store things. It allows me to have extra storage space this way, which is awesome. It also looks very nice with the wood, which matches the rest of the wooden furniture. This would make a great kids bed. It has a sturdy metal frame with no squeak so far. It was relatively easy to put together but of course, it's faster and easier with real tools rather than the ones included. It has plenty of storage space under the bed and it looks great.
