The media could not be loaded. My husband was able to set up this electric fireplace with no issue. He mounted it to the wall but it also comes with the equipment to allow it to just stand on the floor. He did say the instructions had very broken English but he’s a very hand my man and can figure things out. I had been wanting a “fireplace” for our bedroom for sometime and this is a cost effective way to do so. It has several different colors. You can change both the background color and the color that comes from the bottom. My only complaint is that I wish it had a more traditional looking color flame. This has a more modern look and more artistic colors. They are all very pretty, it’s just not going to give that classical realistic fireplace look. You can add the fake sticks and crystal if you like. We did and the sticks kind of look like an alligator & nessy in the water. But I still like them! It’s very quiet and you can turn the heater off or on regardless of if you leave the flames going. We mounted this right under our tv and when we change the flame color with the remote it actually turns our tv on lol. So far none of the other buttons or options do this. But that is kind of aggravating. Overall I am very happy with this fireplace and the many options it has for color display and heating. This will definitely make any room feel more relaxing and fun all at the same time! Oh and the lights shine out from the bottom like a little laser show. It doesn’t bother me because when I’m laying down in the bed I don’t t see them but it does annoy my husband!

The media could not be loaded. This review is for the 36" variation, and we absolutely love it. We decided to mount this in our bedroom, under the TV. I believe wall mounting it is the way to go, it gets it up off the floor and saves room. The feet are a little big if you decide to set it on the floor and can be a trip hazard as they stick out about 4". Mounting it on the wall with the supplied bracket is a breeze, I do recommend putting the bracket into studs though, this electric fireplace is pretty heavy. Love the different functions with the remote and having the remote is a big plus for me. You can change the flame color, slow it down, and speed it up. You can change the background color and slow it down, dim it and make it go into a party mode and it will cycle through all the different colors. It is really mesmerizing. It is also very quiet, even with the heater on high. I plan on building a structure around it and place a shelf above it, to tie it into the wall a little better. Very easy to assemble and use, great buy.

Very happy with this purchase. Love the thermostat. Just have it on the floor for now. Will mount to the wall. Very quiet, warms the room and looks pretty doing it. Only complaint is you have to remove the glass front and install the little "glass" pieces and "logs" yourself. There is no stop to hold them in place so they kept falling out when we were re-attaching the glass front. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.

I love sitting in front of a fireplace, and this one is fantastic. I like that it can either be mounted on a wall or remain free-standing. The size is ideal for a fairly large room and provides great warmth. The remote control and touch screen make this very user-friendly. I'm unsure about the color changes I can create, as they make it look unnatural, and the whole point of a fireplace to me is that it look like a real fireplace. The instruction manual was very clearly written, and assembly was pretty easy. I highly recommend this item.

This large fireplace is so gorgeous. It's a great size. It's not too big to be obnoxious, yet big enough to heat an average sized room just fine. The flames are amazing. Love all the different color options. I laughed out loud at the pieces of wood that came with it to make it look more realistic, like a green flame looks realistic. LOL But that's just a funny. It doesn't take away from the rating of this amazing fireplace. Came with all the hardware needed to hang it. This fireplace is a steal at just over $100. Everyone needs one of these, if not for the heat, then for the visual.

This Electric Fireplace is much nicer in person than it looks via the item description pictures. The instructions are informative and easy to follow. There are a few ways to display it. Assembly as free standing took me about half an hour by myself. The controls are self explanatory and the remote works well, even from a distance. There are multiple light combination choices and you can have the lights working without the heat function. As for the heat function, it works well and pushes some serious heat out. Will heat up a decent sized room very well. There is a timer function as well. This really adds to the aesthetic of the room. Very giftable and the price point reflects the high quality of the unit!
