Dont believe the hype. This fireplace blows. No where near the flame color in the picture. Only see blue flame. Cant control heating of unit. Its one setting. Remote only turns on and off fireplace. DO NOT BUY IT. Returning it is even a problem.

I have installed three of these in restaurants and have been very happy with the results. My gas bills went down as the main heating no longer runs while these are in use. All the heat they generate goes directly into the room. two have been running 6 days a week, 8 hours a day for two years without issue. The third one is a new install. The gas company installed the gas lines and checked the system for leaks. The blower install was more difficult than any of the installation. Overall the fireplace works as intended. Attaching the fireplace insert onto the mantle to prevent insert from sliding. The instructions on page 6 shows 2 angle irons for attachment which were not provided. Again the product works well. The media could not be loaded. We are very happy with our purchase! This is a beautiful addition to our home but this is also a very good heater. It heated our 1440 square foot home from 60 degrees to 68 degrees in less than an hour! Thats the temperature we like to keep our home. Definitely recommend this heater! It heats well but the remote operated one either heats 26,000 btu or none at all. I would rather had the one that has multiple setting to run lower heat when needed. Mine cuts on and off ALL the time.

We have messed around with this fireplace for a year now. It finally worked for a brief amount of time. Then it stopped working again. It will turn on for a while. Then it clicks off and the pilot goes out. You have to CONSTANTLY get on your knees, mess around with turning the pilot back on. Then you turn it on either manually with the knob or with the remote and in less than 15 minutes, it goes out again. I will never purchase this version of a ventless fireplace again. ... show more
