It works!
I want to preface that I am not a doctor or anyone who works in the health field. Just a regular guy who saw this and thought it was a cheap price and wanted to have one at home for use whenever I might want to use it. I can confirm that this stethoscope works for listening to your heartbeat and does it just as well as the one your doctor uses, from experience asking to use theirs from time to time, to hear my heartbeat for myself. With that said, the price feels really cheap for what this is, in a good way. I like that this uses real metal parts (minus the rubber tubing, which is to be expected), though the metal feels a tad cheap? I'm not sure if that's just me misremembering or not, but it just feels like a cheaper version than what your doctor has. But either way, they don't feel like they'll break, it just feels like metal you'd get from something from the dollar store and looks like that way too. But it's not like you're going to be throwing these against a wall or something, so not too much to worry about and not worthy of a negative review. I just wanted to mention it from my initial use. The weight feels decent and hangs around your neck well without falling off from either being too heavy or too light. The weight feels just right. It fits well, except on my left ear, it's not a very comfortable fit for some reason, no matter which side I try. I eventually get it in, but it's a weird fit when first putting on. The sound coming from this is very good. Tapping your fingernail against the drum is super noticeable. Placing it against your chest reveals your heartbeat very well. I've also tried against other parts of my body like my arm and stomach and can hear my innards there as well, such as what sounds like blood flow. Really cool! Would recommend!

It works just fine, metal parts are sturdy. Seems professional to me.
I dropped the diaphragm while getting the parts out of the box, dropped onto a hard floor, but there was no damage. The metal is pretty thick. When you get it you have to push the diaphragm, and the ear pieces section, onto the tube included. That took a minute. Work the tube over both ends enough, then it will stay put. Every so often if you use it a lot, make sure it's still got enough length connected, or if you're really concerned, put little hose clamps (not included, but also not needed) over the three connections. I could hear my heartbeat just fine. It seems the same as stethoscopes I've used a couple times at the doctor's office. It has a diaphragm, tubes and earpieces. Not sure what could be improved. Don't believe those heartless people who didn't hear anything! I might end up using this for engine diagnosis, or to make sure we're all still alive, or both. It does just what I expect a stethoscope to do.

Toy/Costume grade
We're getting this to play with my daughter, so for that purpose it'll work well. We could hear our hearts fine, and it's sufficient quality to make her enjoy it and be happy. Based on the price, this was the quality we assumed... but it really doesn't appear to be marketed that way (based on product name and related products). This definitely isn't medical quality/grade. This would have been an easy 5 stars if it was presented as a toy or costume accessory.
