I purched this mat several months ago because I have used it for many years. I finally put it in the tub about 1-2 months ago and have been having a problem with the suction cups popping off. I have lost eleven so far. It still does the job, but am not happy with this issue. The other issue is that mold builds up under the suction cups. I bought this bath mat because it’s machine washable. This mat has been great, it sticks to the tub very well. I like to remove it and hang it on the side of the tub after each use so it dries out and reduces the opportunity for mold and mildew to grow. Not too impressed with the cushioning. It’s a good bath matt, I just thought it was a little thicker than it is. It holds up for months after being stood on daily in the shower. Wash well in the washer then air dry. The size is good for your standard tub length. It doesn’t give off any odors. It suctions well to the bottom of the tub. I keep a very clean bathroom and was looking for a safe, cushioned bath mat—but this one was a total letdown. Within one week of use, this mat became moldy and discolored, even though I followed all care instructions: machine washed on delicate, cold water, and hung it to dry after each use. It does not stay in place—the suction cups are practically useless, and it slides around on the tub floor. Even worse, the surface itself became slippery and gross, making it a safety hazard rather than a help. This product promises antimicrobial protection, comfort, and grip—but in my experience, it failed on every front. I'm including photos of this to show how disgusting it becomes. Love these tub matts, the suction sticks well to the tub and the cushiony thickness of the matt is comfortable, thick enough that you don't feel the firm suction cups while standing on it. They eventually need to be replaced as they get dried out and compressed due to exposure to soap, cleaning products and use, but that takes quite a while.
