The DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller features familiar PlayStation controls, and incorporates several innovative features to usher in a new era of interactive experiences. Its definitive analog sticks and trigger buttons have been improved for greater feel and sensitivity. A multi-touch, clickable touch pad expands gameplay possibilities, while the incorporated light bar in conjunction with the PlayStation Camera allows for easy player identification and screen adjustment when playing with friends in the same room. The addition of the SHARE button makes utilizing the social capabilities of the PlayStation system as easy as the push of a button. The DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller is more than a controller; it’s your physical connection to a new era of gaming. Pair your controller You’ll need to pair your controller when you use it for the first time and when you use it with another PS4 system. Turn on the PS4 system and connect the controller with the USB cable to complete device pairing. Hint When you press the (PS) button, the controller turns on and the light bar glows in your assigned colour. The colour that is assigned depends on the order in which each user presses the PS button. The first controller to connect is blue, with subsequent controllers glowing red, green, and pink.

I'm a sucker for a good orange color. When I got it, I didn't know that the control had the blue back part to it. (I know, I know, it shows the color of controller's back in the picture but I was going too fast and was getting very desperate for a new control at the time). Either way, it is a great color combo. As with many of these dualshock 4 controls, this feels good to hold in your hands and play with. I personally found the analog sticks on this control to feel weirdly good and enjoyable. There's something about the slightly rough texture of the sticks that feels just right for my thumbs. There's a clear noticeable difference between the rough analog texture design on this control compared to the smooth analog design on my other control. Not to sure if this had any affect while playing my games (haven't gotten around to comparing the two controls) but I personally like the rough texture here. I can, however, definitely see how that aspect of the control can push a few people away from it. Outside of that, this really is a fabulous control and worth a buy; so long as you're fine with slightly rough feeling analog sticks. ... show more

The controller is beautiful!!!!! It is a standard controller but with much more attractive coloring/style. I love this one and the berry blue edition. My favorite PS4 controllers to date. No issues with it after weeks of usage. I'm pretty sure other reviews that state theirs don't work or die rapidly have owners that fell for the old E-Bay scam of bait and switch. Display a picture of the item you want, but get the one you don't. Just like most products, check the seller reviews and if there are none, don't buy from them or be ready to accept consequences of getting scammed. It would be easy to rip out the internals of the controller and swap them with an older/broken model (that's how I fixed my 20th anniversary PS4 controller) and then sell it on Amazon to make back the money lost. Just saying, buyer beware if it's not sold/shipped by Amazon. ... show more

The battery in thia controller lasts twice as long compared to the older controllers I have been using. Not sure if the technology is better or if the batteries are just worn out in the old controllers. Solid product. The controller arrived a day before the earliest estimated delivery date.

I love it! Orange is my favorite color and up until this point, I had to buy a custom one for a lot more money. Needless to say that one was starting to die out so I needed a replacement. I got this and wow it's so much nicer in person. The fact that the sticks and buttons are blue also instead of the regular black that Sony loves to use is a great touch. I feel like the battery lasts much longer than my white one. Granted that one is from 2014 so the battery may just have lost some capacity over the years. I just got this controller today and I love it! I have honestly been looking everywhere for it but no one has it or is all sold out The shipping was fast came earlier then planed. Synced up quick and easy. The back blue part feels great in your hand. I love this controller. The reason why I gave it one less star is because the orange is pretty bright but I’m the picture it seems like a darker orange and I would of like that a little better but all in all still a great controller. ... show more

I won't waste time reviewing this as a controller. It's an official PS4 DualShock so it's as good as any other official PS4 DualShock (though I'll mention that it's a V2, if that isn't already clear). What I will talk about is the aesthetic of its particular color scheme. I bought this for my son because his favorite colors are blue and orange. This was a perfect choice. The orange is vibrant and the blue is much bluer than the purple-ish blue that it appears to be in a lot of screenshots and stock images.
