This did not work for me, but I wanted to write a review as it seems like a good product & would work for different hair types. My hair is fine, but medium thickness/fullness, below my shoulders, & straight, so I need a flat iron/curling iron that really clamps onto my hair. My hair slid through this one too easily, so it couldn't get a good straightening or curling. I think it work well for someone with more coarse hair, wavy or curly hair, super long hair, or hair that gets stuck easily in flat irons/curling irons. It might also work for someone younger or new to hair tool who is learning to use a flat iron/curling iron & may worry about having their hair in the iron too long. Mine heated up quickly & I loved the air flow feature. It was also very pretty, which I liked since my hair styling tools are left out on the counter 99% of the time. It was a really good price too. Even though it didn't work for me, I hope my review will help others decide if it would for them.

Just get it! It's def worth the price with the 60% sale! This is very light, heats up super fast, it curls hair beautifully and holds a curl well. I have semi course, wavy, curly hair but it does not hold curls well without tons of product in it. I'm trying to save my hair a bit, trying to cover up grey, going blonde, bleach highlights it just does a number on your hair and of course the dreaded age when your hair decides to go into barb wire territory! This is kind on the hair and it works on even lower temps to give a curl and it will save your hair. Don't know how long it will last but it is 100% worth it at this price. DO NOT spend money on the high end stuff as this is a great dupe for so many others. It is dual volage so you can possibly take it with you if you travel. I do not have hundreds to spend on hair tools, anymore. I do have other curlers/stylers and flat irons but I see that I will now use this about 90% of the time for my hair. I have been doing my own hair for about 10 years so I guess you can call me a semi-pro at that and I would recommend this unit to anyone who wants a cheaper alternative. If you are older and have hand issues, this is so light and easy to use that it's really a joy and would be helpful in hair upkeep. It does also soften hair so this helps with the grey wires coming in and will make the more manageable. I'm so pleased with the item!

wanted to love it. first couple of uses my hair looked super. less than a week it didn't work. used their suggestion under returns to try and fix it. worked one time and then didn't work. so disappointed. hopefully they will find the problem.

I’m mixed on this. It has traditional flat iron plates, but the curling iron part is hot air. In the end, for myself, I prefer a traditional separate flat iron and curling iron. Pros: 1) The outer part stays cool because the heat source is hot air, not the metal barrel itself, so my young daughter feels comfortable using it. 2) It is dual voltage. Cons: 1) I assumed since it’s dual voltage and for travel, it would be more compact, but it is a full-size tool. 2) It makes a high pitched blowing sound because of the small holes the air comes out of. I find the sound a bit obnoxious. 3) My curls don’t come out smooth like a traditional iron. It’s frizzy and messy. When I’m traveling, I often throw my hair into a pony tail after curling so it’s less noticeable, but it doesn’t look nice down. In the end, it’s 2 tools in one but neither performs well. I kept it because I still think it’s one of the better options when traveling. As an FYI, I bought 2. One for myself and one for a friend. One came shrink wrapped and with a comb and silicon mat. The other was not wrapped and was missing the comb, so I suspect it’s an open box item.

I love this curling iron. It’s so sleek and pretty! I really loved that it came with a comb and a silicone mat to protect your countertop and other surfaces. It heats up pretty quickly and the outside of it gets warm but doesn’t get hot enough to where you can’t handle the outside of it. It’s really neat that it can be used as both a straightener and a curling iron. The vents on the outside of it have cool air that passes through them which helps set your curls quicker. It has multiple temperature settings which can easily be adjusted. I used this on mine and my 7 year olds hair and we were both left with beautiful curls. The cord is nice and long and swivels and also has a hook in which you can hang up the tool. Overall, very satisfied with my purchase.

I was headed to London and was not sure what to bring. I read about these dual voltage curling irons and was skeptical. It was a cheaper option buying this that a converter so I gave it a shot. Worked like a charm. The first time I plugged in at our flat I crossed my fingers and hoped for the best. Boom - worked great. Highly recommend.
