I needed adjustable arms on a lamp stand for a project but it needed to hold more weight than a simple light bulb. This did the trick perfectly AND it allows me to have two items that I can adjust the position of simultaneously on it. The arms move forward and retract AND swing side to side. This stand makes my room look more upscale! I previously laid my lamps on top of the cover for my 40-gallon tank that houses my bearded dragon, buy now I let them hang on this stand. It's well built, and I feel it adds a touch of class to my setup.     • Great Lamp Stand, Once You Figure It Out
This lamp stand would've gotten a full five stars from me if it weren't for the complete lack of assembly instructions. Sure, it's fairly intuitive to put together, but not including instructions feels a bit lazy. Someone who's not mechanically inclined might get frustrated. Once assembled, though, it's a nice lamp stand. You can adjust the height using some or all of the extension tubes, and the two lamp holders can be adjusted independently. It feels sturdy and is holding up my lamps securely so far. If you need extra stability, you could easily put a weight on the base. There's also a rubber pad that sticks onto the bottom metal plate to protect your floor. This stand is perfect for my Tegu's needs. The only real downside is the lack of assembly instructions, but once you figure it out, you have a solid lamp stand to keep your reptile safe and healthy.
