  • Nice Network Card. Easy Install, No problems

  • Works perfectly and regularly gets gigabit and over speeds.
I put this card in a used small form factor PC I bought online using the included SFF plate. I installed Proxmox onto the PC and created an Opnsense virtual machine to act as my home router. I needed this NIC to add extra ports for my WAN and LAN interfaces. I used PCIe passthrough to bind the NIC to the VM in Proxmox. Once I had Opnsense set up, I've been able to get gigabit or higher (~1.2Gbps) speeds both locally (using iperf3) and with speed tests over my fiber internet. I'm now getting faster speeds than the "traditional" gigabit router+wifi I was using before. Very happy with this card. ... show more

  • Plug And Play
Very simple to use, just plug it directly into a free PCI slot on your MOBO and boot your PC up with a cable connected. Drivers are directly recognized, even on Arch Linux ;)

  • It works fine.
I had purchased this item to use in an older computer with OPNsense. It's purpose was to allow me to connect T-Mobile Home Internet and Verizon Internet to my network in my travel trailer, The card and my home spun router are working great.

  • No more bottleneck
I previously was using the onboard 2.5 gigabit ethernet controller that came on my motherboard. on download tests, my max score was around 340-350 Mbs, even though my ISP advertised a 500 Mb connection. Installed this NIC card and tested again - boom: 500mbs speed was realized. That was without touching any settings at all. In all fairness, It's not like I can really tell a difference when streaming movies and shows (or most other things), but it's nice to know I'm getting all the bandwidth I'm paying for. ... show more

  • WOrks great
Works great. Love the dual ports for my firewall setup. Would not have had enough PCI slots with out this. And as a bonus, it works. I bought a different one first that was cheaper, and it was dead on arrival.

  • Pfsense
I was hoping to creat a new Pfsense device, but for some reason the motherboard I was useing combined with its onboard network port was not able to comunicate with my network, I could ping out to 8.8.8.8 but my current devicses were not able to see my router IP hummmm... So I am not sure if it was Pfsense or the hardware I was using.... ... show more
