  • Best wireless android auto radio for the money
Style: 7” Wireless Double Din Stereo
Hands down best wireless android auto radio for the money. Works flawlessly and does not lag or glitch. Has all the provisions needed for things such as dimming, reverse cameras, and subs. Have 3 of these radios in 3 different vehicles, one is over 2yrs old and has never skipped a beat

  • Amazing head-unit for the money! Amazing head-unit for the money!
Style: 7” Wireless Double Din Stereo
I have been using this headunit for over a month now in my 2000 Ford Ranger and it sounds great! It can be slightly slow or laggy at times but it an all around great product! The wireless carplay is very good and connects very quickly and automatically when I turn on the truck.

  • Not worth it
Style: 7” Wireless Double Din Stereo
This stereo is honestly terrible for the price and I regret buying it. The GPS is basically useless it constantly loses signal even when I’m driving in open areas, so you can’t rely on it at all for navigation. The microphone is just as bad, it sounds muffled and washed out, and people I call can barely hear me unless I’m practically yelling. It makes hands-free calling pointless. On top of that, mine didn’t even come with a volume knob/wheel, or is missing which is crazy for something in this price range. Adjusting volume through the screen just makes everything more annoying, especially while driving. The screen itself is also insanely slow. Like, it genuinely feels worse than using an old tablet from 2013. There’s a noticeable delay every time you tap something, scrolling lags, apps take forever to respond it just feels cheap and outdated. For something that’s supposed to be a modern car stereo, the performance is unacceptable. Overall, it looks decent at first, but once you actually start using it, the flaws show immediately. Between the unreliable GPS, bad mic quality, missing physical controls, and super laggy screen, it’s just not worth the money at all. You can definitely find something better for the same price or even cheaper. ... show more

  • Good Enough, With Caveats
Style: 7” Wireless Double Din Stereo
The sound quality you get out of this head unit will mostly vary by the sound system you connect it to, but the interface seems to work well. I chose this model for the wireless Android Auto feature, and for the most part it seems to work okay for that. The best I can give it is "meh". Connectivity to my phone can be spotty at times with audio streaming cutting out, even if I place the phone directly next to the head unit itself. Most Android Auto units I've used have a safety nag screen when they boot up, but it usually times out and clears itself. Probably the most irritating behavior of this unit is the nag screen that requires you to hit "Agree" every time you start your car. I wish there was somewhere in the menu that you could agree just once and be done with it. It's far from the worst I've ever used, but the best I can give it is "good enough". ... show more

  • Not bad, not great.
Style: 7” Wireless Double Din Stereo
I've installed and operated two of these units so far. What I like about it: 1. Seems free of the glitches and quirks of cheaper units. 2. Has a nice "night mode" when headlights are turned on (provided the ILL+ is wired). What I don't like about it: 1. Seems to have to re-boot every time the ignition is cycled. This is annoyingly slow. Units from other manufacturers seem to have a sleep mode that allows them to come on immediately without booting every time. Yes, I do have the constant power wired correctly, and the unit does retain all of its volatile memory settings when powered down, so it is not a wiring issue. 2. It does have a 3.5mm microphone input but it does not seem to support additional aux-input with Sony jack (3.5mm, headphone jack). Some other units do have this feature. This is not a biggie. ... show more

  • Excellent Excellent
Style: 7” Wireless Double Din Stereo
I installed this in my wife's 2001 CR-V. I have nothing but great things to say about it. For the price ($169) to get wireless AA and CP PLUS TWO USB 2.1A fast chargers (one dedicated to just charging and one for charging or wired AA/CP) with 60W Mosfet (16W RMS) x 4 channels, subwoofer input, GPS, front and rear cams (sold separately) and very importantly a volume KNOB to complete the functionality, this unit is wonderful. Super easy to use once you realize that to get out of AA and CP back to the Dual main menu, you just hit the Dual icon in AA or CP and you can make adjustments to the settings without losing your connection with AA or CP. I actually had to email Dual to ask them how to get out of AA/CP without having to disconnect my phone. They said to hit the Dual icon in AA/CP. Once you know that this thing is amazing. In terms of the sound quality, it is wonderful. I have JVC speakers installed, and this deck makes them sing, man. Especially with the loudness button on. At some point I will probably install the reverse cam, but I have to buy that separately. My only gripe is that for my car I had to buy a separate Metra double din dash kit just for the trim plate because the trim plate that comes with this unit is too thick for my car so it didn't fit. Other than that, totally worth it. ... show more

  • Problems with radio
Style: 7” Wireless Double Din Stereo
If you like taking your vehicle apart multiple times and listening to music, going in and out, this is the perfect unit for you. I purchased this radio for a 2015 Jeep Wrangler. After about 8 months after being installed, the radio started to cut in and out. It would sometimes be just one side of the speakers or another. I pulled the dash apart and looked at the situation, and it appeared that it was the rear clip connecting between the speakers and the unit. I contacted the company, and they sent me a new harness to install. I again pulled the dash and installed the new harness. This seemed to work for about 3 to 4 weeks, but the issues started again. Music cutting in and out, from one side to another. So I contacted the company again, and now they say it is out of warranty. I need to take the dash apart again, take the radio out, put the dash back, since it's a daily driver, send the unit back for testing, and then have them figure out what is wrong, and then send it back to me to take the dash apart again and reinstall. I have decided that I will purchase products from this company and just buy something else. ... show more

  • Great product for the money
Style: 7” Wireless Double Din Stereo
Works well and having wireless Android Auto is a wonderful upgrade. The touchscreen is not the greatest, and the sometimes needs to be pressed harder than what your phone needs. Touch response is on the slow side, so sometimes you wonder if you've pressed hard enough and then go to press again right when the screen changes, but you get used to it. Overall I'm very happy with this head unit and the fact that it has a volume knob instead of the crappy up/down switches or the god-awful touchscreen volume controls makes this a the best option you can find for the money. ... show more
