I bought this kindle cover for my Fire HD 8 tablet to replace my current cover that lasted about 4 years and was ready to be replaced. This cover is sturdy and fits my kindle perfectly. This also comes with stylus and screen cloth to clean screen. The colors on cover are vibrant and I am happy with my choice, The only negative that I would report is the stylus holder, a stretchy material, is stitched so close to the cover that you are not able to put the stylus in the holder. I like the variety of colors and patterns. I am disappointed in the durability of the material used for construction. The latch flap is already cracking and will probably break off. The pattern where it folds and where your hand tends to rest when you read is worn off. I should've gone with leather

I bought this case because my old one had a cracked edge (from dropping it) and it was getting a bit worn looking. This case does *not* include the auto-wake feature, but I wasn't too concerned about that. It has a few different ways for it to stand up, and the edges protrude a bit around the Kindle Fire itself. That makes it both functional for standing vertically, and a bit more cumbersome to plug in or turn on, if you're not paying attention to what you're doing. The only downside is that the material from which the case is made is very slick. I dropped it the first few times I picked it up but have now gotten use to gripping it more firmly than I had my old one. I'm hopeful it will become a bit softer as time goes on, but we'll see! I certainly don't want to drop my Kindle because the case is too slick, and if that happens, I will have to look for a different case. But for the time being, this one is good, and it's beautiful! ... show more

I love my new cover besides being very nice looking, it comes with added features. There is a stylus included that attaches along the side that works nicely. The clip for closures works whether the cover is open or closed to prevent it from "flopping" around. I like the way it has two positions to hold the book open for hands-free reading.
