My husband volunteers from time to time at the ranch where we got married. The area is surrounded by mountains and dense forest, and once it gets dark, visibility outdoors becomes very limited. Wildlife sightings are common, and cell service is unreliable, so he wanted to try night vision goggles for better awareness and safety. We tested them together as a family, taking turns using them, and overall they feel well made and thoughtfully designed. The image clarity was better than expected, and the controls were easy to figure out even for first-time users. All the components are neatly organized in the included carrying case, which makes storage and transport simple. The battery life has also been solid during our use. I’ve never used night vision goggles but have always wanted to try some. One sibling has a lot of land and wildlife such as deer on their property. Another sibling has woods behind them with lots of activity going on at night. I always thought it would be fun to be able to see what’s going on via night vision goggles when I go over for a visit. I really didn’t know what to expect from these. You can use them three different ways. I definitely won’t be using a helmet, so I set them up with the head band first. Attaching the goggles was fairly easy. However, it’s not comfortable at all for me to use them this way. They’re heavy against my forehead, which is very uncomfortable, and the head band keeps slipping. I can wear the goggles this way for only a short time. Being able to flip the camera up and have it stay there with the extremely strong magnet is a fantastic feature. I just wish I could take advantage of it. Using the neck strap is the way I’ll have to go for the most part. There are a lot of viewing options with these goggles. Quite impressive. The instruction manual does a good job of walking you through the features. I had to play around with some of the options to see how they differed, such as with the light levels. The range and zoom are plenty good for the occasional user. You can take photos and videos and view them via the goggles thanks to the 32GB SD card included. I did find with recording videos that I couldn’t keep the goggles steady. So quite a bit of shakiness going on watching the playback. For the price, these are a great value for occasional day and night viewing. The storage case is well made; it holds everything easily and sufficiently protects the goggles. They’re fun to use. I look forward to playing around with them even more on my next visit to my sibling’s house.

Clear visibility in the dark, easy hands-free setup, and the zoom works surprisingly well. The built-in IR light and included 32GB card make it super convenient. Great value for nighttime hiking, security, or wildlife watching.

So this is really great. Understand this is digital NV and not "true" night vision. But if seeing stuff at night, maybe catching an animal in action or just creeping around (creeper) this is a solid buy. Good battery life and very clear picture. Pretty dang good range too which is great outside. Works well and feels well made. Pretty comfortable but def not for long uses. Adjusts to my big head so it'll work for you too.

Super easy to use and way clearer than I expected. The controls are straightforward - power, plus/minus, mode, and focus - so I barely touched the manual. The menu is simple to scroll through, with options for photos, video, and a wide range of resolutions all the way up to 36MP. The seven brightness levels on the 2.7-inch screen make a big difference, and the infrared light is strong enough that I can see clean detail in full darkness. Focusing is quick with the side dial, and the image stays sharp. The whole setup feels comfortable to wear, and it's flexible with the neck strap, head mount, or helmet mount. Battery life is solid with fast 2.5-hour charge, lasts about 3-5 hours with IR on, and much longer in daytime mode. I haven't tested the long-range distance yet, but in short-range night testing it's been impressive. A great pick for anyone who wants clear night vision without complicated controls. Definitely worth it.

I am amazed at how well these goggles provide a clear picture of everything in complete darkness. The focus function is simple and dials the view to perfection. These upgraded goggles are simple to operate, and an engineering success. Fit, form, and function are exceptional. I really like the ease of recording and taking pictures. The battery takes a charge quickly and lasts a long time. I like using it as a handheld, but it is nice that it comes with a method to wear on my head, comfortably. I have used this for wildlife viewing at home and in our nearby mountains. These goggles bring the night to life. PROS Easy to use and clear well written instructions. View is crystal clear. Provided accessories are a bonus. Bureau CONS None RECOMMENDATION – I have recommended these goggles since my first use. I have told my friends and family how amazing they function.

Looking past the issue of it being made from plastic, it has a pretty good picture. Only downside is if you try to wear it on your head your gonna fall. The picture is too far ahead of you to be of significant use on your hear. As a pair of say binoculars, they do very well. Decent battery life. Decent picture, lots of settings to get things right. It however cannot see in total darkness with active IR light, which is visible in red at about 6 feet. It is decently lightweight if you actually wanted to wear it with the included headband. These systems I see selling now are more like what you would find on a security camera, than on actual night vision at this price point. I feel they are a fair value for what your getting. I would of like these better had they had a rubber armor coating. I found these easier and more useful holding them, them mounting them.
