This is a very nice light fixture. It comes with all the mounting hardware and electrical connectors that you need for a quick and easy installation. The installation hardware is good quality. The mounting bracket is made of sturdy thick metal and it has every combination of mounting holes/slots that you could possibly need to attach to your ceiling electrical box. The included screws and wire nuts are all standard electrical quality and work exactly as needed. The wire in the fixture is also standard. The black and white wires come pre-stripped, so all you need to do is twist on the wire caps to your house wires. No wire strippers necessary. This even came with a set of white cotton gloves that you could use to install the glass fixture to ensure a finger print free installation! Nice touch!! The only tool I needed was a Phillips screwdriver to install the mounting bracket, and then the same screwdriver to install the black mounting screws to hold the fixture to the bracket. The design of the glass is very nice and has a vintage look. It is held in place by three set screws that you finger-tighten. The black metal mount is simple and sturdy. The vintage look of this light is perfect in my 100 year old home, but it would look great in any house for cool styling. It's fairly small so it works well in a hallway or closet. It's the perfect addition to my entry closet. I was looking so just the right look which I got with this light. The quality is very good, so it's just as good or better than much more expensive fixtures. This light is very nice! It seems to be well made, with no obvious defects. This light came very well packaged with a custom cut foam surround. It was easy enough to install. Of course if you aren't skilled in electrical work you should hire a professional! But if you are able to, the instructions were clear. I used this to replace the plain light over my sink and I think it looks wonderful.
