Pencil flat irons for pixie cuts

Great little flat irons for pixie cuts or short curls with pencil thin plates. Love that it has a swivel cord which prevents the lead from twisting. The main reason I chose this one was because it has temperature control. The pair I had previously did not and they got that hot they were hard to handle and I was getting really frizzy ends with some breakage. I use a lower temperature on my hair with these (370) and my strands are silky soft. Very pleased with my purchase so far!

My initial opinion of the pencil hair iron curler was less than favorable. After sharing my discontent with my hairstylist, she instructed me on the key to insuring the iron remained on during use. I now have no difficulty with the iron cutting off prematurely and I’m enjoying using this product. It heats to perfection, is easy to handle and does a great job. I am happy to report I am a satisfied customer and recommend this product for short hair.

I got the DSHOW Pencil Flat Iron for styling short hair. It works okay for detail work and touch-ups thanks to its compact size. However, I've found that it doesn't heat up as consistently as I'd like, and the results aren't always as smooth as I'd expect. The product is decent for the price, but it doesn't quite live up to my expectations for everyday styling. Maybe it'll work

Excellent performance, but the button placement needs a rethink!

I really wanted to give this DSHOW Pencil Flat Iron a higher rating because it truly is a very good product that works beautifully for styling short hair, bangs, and pixie cuts. However, the design team really needs to reconsider the placement of the temperature gauge and the power buttons. The buttons are in a very awkward position for how you naturally hold the straightener while styling. I constantly find myself unknowingly changing the temperature settings or completely turning the iron off mid-stroke. It takes a lot of concentration just to avoid pressing them while you work. It is a shame because the iron itself performs wonderfully, but the frustrating button layout holds it back from being perfect.
