This is PERFECT for cosplayers that need an 8 tooth crimper! It has multiple different crimper attachments, plus an attachment to make it a straighter! It crimps high quality ( wig bases from DokiDoki Cosplay for example ) synthetic wigs PERFECTLY at the HIGHEST setting. Not sure if it would melt lower quality wigs. The only downside to this is that it takes a long time ( probably five minutes ) for it to get to its full heat and a long time to cool down as well. Also, the most part that you hold onto to make it tighter on the hair can hurt your fingers after a while. It’s perfect for the price, and honestly? I think the only 8 tooth crimper on Amazon for this kind of price so I’d def recommend getting it.

**update: I was contacted by the seller and she was very concerned about my dissatisfaction. This was very refreshing! She wanted to make sure I was happy. Although this product does not do well for my hair type and I cannot use it comfortably, I am satisfied with her concern and her willingness to make things right. This pulls your hair with the straightner plates. Plates don't stay in place. My hair is coarse and wavy and it takes multiple passes. The crimper work ok. The best one us the smallest. The others you can't tell there's a crimp.

I really liked this product — the quality was great, and it made my hair look beautiful. Unfortunately, after just a few months it stopped working. For this price, I’m disappointed that it only lasted such a short time.

Got this for my daughter she loves it. Not bulky, doesn't have a buring smell, works great.. very good product. Easy to assemble and handle. She loves the fact she can straighten or crimper her hair. This is a cute styling product for any style. Burn resistant just dont grab the hot plates while on.

I love this thing! I have fine, thin to medium long hair that can look flat and doesn't hold curls very well. This crimper adds volume and texture like crazy! I have tried all three crimp plates so far, but not the straightener one yet. I have only used the second heat setting on myself (160C) and it really lasts. The photo is from crimping most of my hair with the 5 row plate the night before and sleeping on it. The texture remains until you wash it out. I've used the lower setting on my two girls and that holds as well. I like that I'm only having to hold the crimper shut for a second or two and achieving lasting results. I have been crimping the sections below my crown for volume and I love the look, but I also like to go nuts and crimp more! I'm finding that the added volume at the roots is allowing me to get one more day in between washes because my hair isn't laying flat against my scalp, added unexpected bonus! I'm getting a heat protectant spray because I'm using this thing way more than I expected to. Pros: The crimper itself is sturdy and I love the interchangeable plates, this was my main reason for purchasing this particular iron. The swivel cord is a must on any electric tool Heats up quickly Does not need to stay on (my) hair for more than a second or two and I don't have to squeeze hard. (Crimp in small sections) The wide plates allow me to get a lot done very quickly Only possible con: The outer plastic cover slides that hold the metal plates in, "feel" like it could wear out quicker than I'd like. The slides edges (pictured) are a bit thin. I'm hoping that this is not the case because I am really enjoying this little crimper. Will update
