You can save on your power bill by not using your electric dehydrator and use mother nature's air and sunshine!! Make sure to have a strong hook such as a molly hook as they can get a little heavy. I’ve been using this to dry herbs and to make sun-dried tomatoes. The one thing I would suggest to the manufacturer would be to include a way to use plastic “dowels” to give it support to stay up and open to make it easier to get product into it. For one person, that is really difficult because it just collapses on top of the food until it is hung. ... show more

I haven't actually put this to the test yet, still working on growing the herbs and such, but I think it will be awesome. It's huge when unfolded, but you do the twist roll thing like with the sunshades for cars, and fits into a small bag for storage. I'm not completely sure where I will hang this in my apartment, but I'll figure it out. It's lightweight, and even with herbs in it, I really don't think it will have much weight to it.
