I do not recommend buying anything but a 1 inch if your hair is short or fine as some straightners like the CHI can break your ends off. So far I'm very happy. I love this iron because it works well, heats up quickly, and also cools down quickly. It’s thick enough that it covers a lot of hair at once but thin enough that I can get good precision out of it. The only negative is that it doesn’t come with a heat protector bag like some other brands do. That would be super useful for traveling, and also for storage.
