I have owned so many straighteners over 15 years! This one is the most gentle on my hair and it shines. My hair is short, wavy, frizzy and thick. I do not recommend buying anything but a 1 inch if your hair is short or fine as some straightners like the CHI can break your ends off. So far I'm very happy. I love this iron because it works well, heats up quickly, and also cools down quickly. It’s thick enough that it covers a lot of hair at once but thin enough that I can get good precision out of it.
