I have been looking for a nice round brush for my short hair when I do a blow out and this is the perfect brush. The best part is that my hair doesn’t get snagged on middle part between the handle and end of the barrel. Biggest pet peeve for me! Drying time is great no reason why you should have this on high heat especially that it’s a ceramic brush and heats up pretty quickly with minimal passes. This is a fabulous brush. I wear a short hair style (think pixie) and am able to use this to blow dry/style my hair every day. No flat iron or curling iron needed. It does not damage my hair, rather it protects while adding curl and volume. I would highly recommend this brush for short and longer hair alike. ... show more

This brush is a garbage version of the brush DryBar used to sell. I bought an earlier version of this brush from DryBar years ago, and the old brush has been so great that I decided to buy a second one for travel. This new brush that I just received is AWFUL. The bristles are so weak they don’t grab the hair and basically just flatten out as soon as you try to brush your hair or use the brush to catch hair to blow out. As a result, it is totally ineffective for blowing out hair or getting a smooth look. It’s basically as if I were using a wooden rolling pin with no bristles. In other words, this brush is completely useless. I assumed this brush would be the same quality as the same exact DryBar product I purchased years ago, but I am disappointed to say it is not anything like the old brush in terms of quality or utility. Shame on me for throwing out the box before trying the brush, or else I would return it. Now it’s just going in the trash as wasted money on a brand that apparently has lowered their quality standards. IN SHORT: do NOT buy this brush, especially if you are looking for the quality of brush that DryBar sold years ago. ... show more
