I like how lightweight they are. They do chip after a while because I unintentionally hit the rims a lot. I also have some hickory and oak sticks that won't chip but those woods are heavier and can make my joints hurt. Every time I go back to the maple sticks, it's wonderful how light they are. Hours later, I'm still having fun.

These are some of the only sticks my kid has asks for multiple times. As a parent/drum stick buyer, I have noticed they last longer. Some of the other sticks that I have purchased only lasted one performance if that.
