If you are looking for a gift for a baker, and have no clue what kitchen gadget to pick out, this is a perfect choice. It is cute, very well make, and packed seriously enough that you could probably have it tossed into your front yard from the window of a passing delivery truck and still have it survive intact (not that I would recommend that option). This nutcracker is SO cute but I had to order multiple versions to find one that wasn't damaged or poorly made. Each one had huge, messy globs of hot glue smeared on their aprons, around their eyebrows, etc. The gingerbread isn't centered on the cookie stand either. On one version, the spoon in his apron had completely broken off and was floating around in the box. This nutcracker is adorable, but the craftsmanship is extremely disappointing. It's my favorite of all my nutcracker, I did splurge on this one as I have only went to big box stores and bought them, I will no longer do that and I will be ordering from here for my next years nutcracker.
