Features

  • CRISP WHITE CAPS IN COMFY MT3 PROFILE: When it comes to keycaps, the difference between a high-quality set and a run-of-the-mill one is, well, black and white.
  • FROM THE IBM TERMINAL TO THE DESKTOP: Based on the profile form the iconic IBM beamspring terminals of the 1970s, this custom set is fully sculpted in Hi-Profile. From its heavily slanted design to the scooped, contoured tops of each cap, the set recreates the feel of vintage keyboards.
  • DOUBLESHOT LEGENDS: As opposed to a dye-sublimiation process, these doubleshot legends are permanently molded inside the keycap, thus becoming an integral part of it. This ensures reliable legends and continuity throughout the set.
  • ORTHO KIT: Covers Ortholinear keyboard layouts including the Drop Preonic and Planck.
  • SPECS: Produced by Drop, ABS Hi-Profile MT3 keycaps, Doubleshot legends, MX compatible, and Fully sculpted based on IBM beamspring keycaps.

  • Looks amazing, but developed shine in 2 weeks
Style: Base Kit
I love the look of these MT3 profile keycaps! They look amazing and they also include a nice array of marvelou miscellaneous keys (such as the "any key"). They look and feel very beefy, and have a very satisfying thock when paired with the right board and switch. However, due to their ABS composition, they developed shine relatively quickly (much faster than I had anticipated). I've only had them for a couple of weeks before the frequently-used keys started to develop the ABS shine. I'd love for this set to be offered in PBT just like the /dev/tty set. ... show more

  • Be careful with the switch stems
Style: Base Kit
I had this key cap set on my primary keyboard for about 6 months. I swapped the switches on my keyboard so I had to take this key cap set off and then put them back on. The “A” key switch stem broke in the process. I didn’t force the key cap onto the switch or twist it. The plastic for the switch stem just broke. I contacted Amazon support to see what I could do one year after purchase and they referred me to the manufacturer. I contacted Drop to see if they could replace the one key cap but they “don’t have surplus inventory on key cap production runs”. Drop couldn’t help me out. TL;DR It’s a beautiful keycap set. It felt wonderful when I used to type on it. Just be careful with support from the manufacturer (Drop). I expected this set to be durable but was let down. ... show more

  • The Typing Profile Feels Premium
Style: Base Kit
Like: - Spherical cup that hugs each keystroke. - The aesthetic is clean, very nice. - Profile height is in between low and high, more towards high but it’s very comfortable. - Easy to adjust from GMK/Cherrry/OEM. - No issue with accidental multi key press, clean separation for the whole keystroke. - The key thickness and soft material makes adds some good Thock. Dislike: - Some of the keys / printing on my set were inconsistent quality, not terrible but noticeable if you really take the time to look for it. For the price I feel like the quality should be more consistent. - Seems like there’s slight inconsistency in the stems as well, maybe too much plastic in the stem. No matter how much you press some keys don’t sit perfectly on the switches. An issue I have with probably 7-8 keys from the entire set. - Probably not the best set for gaming, the height of this profile means there’s just more mass to move around. I wouldn’t say it’s bad or heavy but I would never envision this profile to be ideal for WASD gaming. ... show more

  • Right Shift Key is loose
Style: Base Kit
The media could not be loaded. The keys are great and ergonomic...but there are some quality issues. In my case is the right shift key , this key is loose and does not keep tight i had to put teflon tape to make it work and prevent to fall down, but come on this is not cheap (arround 130 usd!!). The key is not broken at all but seem the size of the hole is too big. you can see the others key keep tight and are hard to remove (ok) but it is not the case with the shift key. ... show more

  • really good but not worth the money
Style: Base Kit
Don't get me wrong it is a really good keycap set and personally I think that they are better than the other gmk keycaps just because of how many different keycaps they come with but the only reason that I go them is because I had a gift card and they look really good and sound good but they are just too expensive ... show more

  • Awesome keycaps!
Style: Base Kit
This is my first MT3 profile keycaps. I don’t think I can ever go back to OEM or anything else. Typing is a joy along with lubed Zeal Sakurios and TX 75g springs. Just keep in mind that the MT3 profile is very different compared OEM. These caps are taller and has a “dish” where your fingers make contact with the caps. These are made with good quality ABS plastic. Slight texture where your fingers land and smoother on the side. I was looking for a black and white set and this fits the build well. I may get the white on black version to go along with this set. I recommend this set to anyone looking good quality keycaps and looking for a different (better?) typing experience. The MT3 profile may not work for everyone but it works for me. ... show more

  • I really like it 👏
Style: Ortholinear Kit
My fingers easily fall into the defined grooves of the MT3 key caps over the stock PlanckEZ ones. The F and J keys have a little bit more pronounced grooves to them. These key caps are much smoother over the stock ABS I had. I really like the feel of it. ☺️ I did some typing test and I feel much more confident on where my fingers are on this set when typing fast. ... show more

  • They sound amazing but not true white!
Style: Base Kit
I got these keycaps on a e-white Blade 65% keyboard with marshmallow switches and these honestly do sound amazing! I'm going for a completely all white aesthetic and these unfortunately are more of an off white (cream/bone) color. Extremely disappointed with how much they stand out against my other white peripherals. Also disappointed in lack of key variety for a $110 keycap set. ($120 on Amazon) No top row Delete key :( ... show more
