I have been using this product often on for years and it’s comparable to using proactive, but I believe it’s better. It uses the same low amount of benzo peroxide, which works better for me than salicylic acid. I am a skin care aficionado but I'm also discerning about what I put in my face. I wanted to try a different spot treatment BPO for the occasional breakout and this was a really good choice. The combo with glycolic acid and the fact that the BPO is micronized I think is what makes this effective. It has a few skin soothing extracts in the ingredient list as well. This dries to a clear finish and did not dry or irritate my skin. I've got middle aged skin that is neither dry nor oily. I have been using this product since July 2025 and was happy with results. I did see breakouts heal faster and preventing new. The reason for 3 stars is because the nozzels break and cannot access the product to complete it. I thought it was a fluke on the first but it just happened on the second.
