Right out of the bags and onto my sectional couch. I didn’t wash them first because I had family and a dog visiting same day and wanted them on asap. So I can’t vouch for how they wash yet. This is the light gray color and we bought 3 separate pieces including the corner piece. It fits well and covers a lot. I didn’t get a little confused on sizes and what I need but fortunately my husband stepped in. Fabric is not real thick which I like. It came with straps but we don’t have them on. I’ll see how this holds up without them. Very happy with the fabric, comfort and the way it looks on a temporary basis.

This sofa cover is well made, as far as we can see so far. It fits well enough and looks good enough, considering it is hiding most of our new leather sofa. It stays in place pretty well, given the use Danny Boy (reason for getting it) has made of it. Update: Now that we have used the cover for a while we can mention a couple of things. First, the elastic strap that goes around the back of the sofa has metal fasteners that are annoying. You slip metal prongs into little fabric pockets. If you only have to do it just every once in the while its no problem. But we have found we have to refasten them fairly frequently. Secondly, the elastic strap tends to slip off fairly often.(Danny Boy's fault. Should probably mention the sofa is of smooth leather.) We are thinking trying to pin the strap across the back flap in three places or so in hopes that it will help. Overall, we still are happy with the quality and looks of the cover. Hopefully, the manufacturer can make some adjustments in the future.

I liked this cover even tho the color I ordered (seafoam) is much lighter than in their picture. FYI, It’s more like a minty/aqua, pretty tho and seemed to be of good quality. It lost two stars with me, bc I never received the strap to hold it onto the sofa back and am being forced to return it. My little dogs sit on the back of the sofa and so that just became a no-go for me, because it won’t stay in place w/o that strap. I tried multiple times to contact this company since the day it arrived. I emailed Gorilla Commerce and they told me contact the seller. So. I’ve called, left a voicemail and talked to the virtual assistant and NOTHING. Virtual assistant says no replacement parts, return or replace the item. I’ll just say - its a nice cover but if you order it, if you don’t get that strap, the customer service on this one is just non-existent. PS I ordered 2 more sofa covers (from other companies). I refused to reorder from this company because they never cared if I got a strap the first time and I had no guarantee they would send me a strap the 2nd time either. The other covers I ordered were both a lil cheaper and one even had straps actually made in. I figured If it was gonna cost me to return this one (rural area, no UPS store in my town) then I might as well make sure to get a strap in the process. And Guess what? They both came with straps. Wow! Imagine that?! I decided on the one with the straps made in it. It’s made by Vanelux if anyone else is interested. The straps are bungied with no metal parts. Just seemed safer for my dogs as well. It’s really nice and fully reversible AND true to color, too. I know some said they wouldn’t stay on even with the strap on theirs so maybe this other type strap would. I’ve already put it on my sofa and It stays put with my little doggies. So win win - Mission accomplished. Now it’s gonna be time to pay the piper tho - with my 2 returns. I don’t care tho. I needed this to work. I was willing to buy a strap. I told this company that- but just got no response. It’s ok, alls well that ends well. I like the one I received better. It’s got two usable sides, both pretty colors and integrated straps just across a very ends that actually hold it in place. So, it was worth it, plus it was also a tad bit cheaper, too. Although, I could have done without all this stress. Blessings. Update: I finally returned the seafoam cover and they didn’t charge me the fee to return at UPS drop off point. Never did even receive so much as a return email from this seller, tho, so Im leaving it at 3 stars due to crappy customer service and the stress that I so didn’t need. Oh, and I decided the just keep the other 2 Id ordered. I actually got those two for the price of this one, and they both work, are both reversible, and have their straps, one has them built in. So now I have a change while ones in the wash, since my little dogs love the back of the sofa. I’m happy and they’re happy, so we wish you all success on your sofa cover journey! We have two dogs that shed and one that likes to be on the couch to sprawl out, which is why we purchased these. Sizing: Bought and pieced together several of these for our xl sectional sofa. The extra arm rests I just tucked in between sections and it works perfectly. I did have a few that were too small for my pieces; however, I knew that before I bought them based on my sofa measurements and their sizing guides. Assembly: they were easy to put on. The parts that go towards the back of the furniture were clearly marked and the elastic straps were each to attach and adjust. They attach via an H hook, which if over stretched will come right off. After sitting and laying on them, they seem to stay in place pretty well. Material: They are soft, seem durable and are easy to launder. Liquid does go through the material; however, my couch cushions couldn’t tell. Not sure about more than drops of water, though. Seems to dry pretty quickly, so if something other than water gets spilled, you may want to remove immediately, so as not to stain. Will see how they hold up over time.
