    • Seat back not high enough
This is a good chair but the seat back is not high enough to support my wife's back. She has fusion hardware running from her pelvis to T4 and needs higher back support. The reviews did not mention how high the back is. Turns out, the seat back is only 15" high from the seat to the top of the seat back. It's a great chair and I like Drive products, but this will not work for my wife. ... show more

Love that it is light weight and easy for my husband to lift into our vehicle. The leg supports do need to be a little longer but otherwise I love it. It's gave me a lot of freedom.

TODAY, October 2, alone in the apartment, THIS WHEELCHAIR COLLAPSED WITH ME IN IT. THE WHEEL ON THE LEFT SIDE CAME LOOSE AND FOLDED UNDER THE CHAIR. iT WAS NOW UNMOVABLE AND IN DANGER OF COMPLETING THE 90 DEGREE FALL... WITH ME IN IT.fortunately, I had a cell phone in my pocket, which i used to call 911. TWO POLICEMEN RESPONDED AND LIFTED ME OUT OF THE CHAIR AND ON TO A SAFE SEAT. YOU CAN CHECK THIS OUT BY CONTACTING THE SOUTH WHITEHALL, PA. POLICE DEPT. ONE OFFICER FOUND THE NUT WHICH CAME FROM THE SMALL WHEEL ASSEMBLY ON THE FLOOR. IT JUST WAS NEVER TIGHTENED.     • Excellent light weight maneuverability vs loose brakes

I rented this chair through my insurance company after I broke my leg - Excellent maneuverability. Turns on a dime. Able to scrub my floor while in my chair. Hard to push outside in uneven surfaces or lawn. My caretaker found that it was easy going backwards through the wet uneven lawn while nearly impossible going forward with small wheels first. - not as light weight as a transport chair but still able to be lifted. The fabric seat is harder to clean than the vinyl but is more lightweight -If you need to keep a leg elevated, I recommend adding some sort of anti slip device. I rubber banded a jar grip to mine to prevent my leg from slipping off. Calf rest is very slippy - big Safety Issue is that brakes do not hold tight. I always mount/ dismount with w/c holder person, in a doorway where I have door frame to grab onto and also where my walker is handy. If you don’t have a few good limbs to press down on to stand up in a balanced manner then I do not recommend this chair for you. ... show more
