After doing quite a bit of online browsing for a new area rug I settled on this one on Amazon. I love everything from the colors to the symmetrical patterns to the feel of my new 5'x8' area rug. I also seemed to buy it at the right time, as it was discounted for a limited time (got it for $60. Normally goes for $98+). I couldn't be more happy and satisfied with my purchase! I now come home, turn on the lights in my living room and get to feast my eyes on this beautifully designed area rug (see attached photos, including user manual). And it's not just on the eyes but on the feet too. It's oh, so smooth to the bare feet (or butt, lol). It's low-pile at 0.2-inch, which to some may be too thin but to me it's just right. I have it placed on top of carpeting. And the underside has a skid-resistant backing which provides a firm grip to the floor. No issues with it shifting here. You shouldn't need to buy an additional rug pad. Out of the box it comes folded (not rolled up). Once laid out, it flattens very easily & quickly. I should mention I noticed no off-putting smell out of box either. The other three benefits which i have yet to utilize is that it's stain-resistant (for when an accident like a spilled drink may occur), and it's vacuum friendly & machine-washable. So, again, I say, "What's there not to like?" With that question posed, I will mention one slight negative. Because the synthetic fiber polyester material is ultra-soft it can make for a slippery surface with socks on or bare feet. I have had a few slight slips myself. So just keep that in mind when walking across it in a rushed manner. That said, well worth the price (even at regular price) for this seemingly well-made area rug. I can see it lasting for years, even decades to come. That said, no need to think it through any further. Go ahead and buy with confidence. You won't be disappointed! 🙂👍

This rug is beautiful! The colors are very vibrant. It seems to be durable so far. I haven't washed it yet, so I didn't rate how easy it was to clean, but it seems very well made and doesn't even show foot marks. The only negative is that it had a smell when I took it out of the packaging, but that dissipated after about a week. I am using it in a bathroom without windows, so it may take less time for the smell to dissipate if you have the rug in a room with open windows. One observation, the rubber backing at first seemed to keep the rug in place, but it is moving around a little, so a rug pad may be helpful. The manufacturer does recommend that. Overall, I love this rug!

Great coloring and very soft. However I was looking for a runner to place in front of my patio door in a carpeted room. Not a good match; that might seem obvious to some. It is quite thin, slides around and bunches up on the carpet, the corners fold up easily, and rug tape or a nonslip pad wouldn’t help. Would be fine on hard flooring as other reviews suggest but wanted to share for others with similar needs. Seek a different option (or a very high quality nonslip rug pad) if you need something for carpeted floors.

Because of my dogs, my expensive oriental rugs of many, many years are almost all gone to rug heaven. So for the past couple of years I have been replacing them with inexpensive, nice looking durable rugs. This one is by far the nicest, softest and attractive inexpensive rug I have purchased. As mentioned previously, the dogs have wreaked havoc on rugs. My old girl licks them incessantly and my little guy likes to chew the corners resulting in a rotation of inexpensive rugs. Even though this rug came folded, the creases are settling quickly, unlike the last one I purchased where the creases never came out. Highly recommend. When this one bites the dust due to dogs, will definitely replace with same rug.

This came quickly and was folded in the box. However when taken out of the package I had no problems with any kind of crease so it was good. Pretty pattern and is staying in place with its non slip rubber backing. I have not washed it yet but i don’t anticipate a problem with that. Overall a nice rug.
