The media could not be loaded. I was not expecting much for $20 but after spending about 30 mins installing them in my planter I am happy I did! Instructions are easy to follow. My only feedback is that the 1/2" hose plug is in one of the bags labeled "faucet connector", presumably for less costly packaging, so it would have taken me about 5 minutes less if I didn't have to hunt around looking for it! Setup was easy, and for the entire front house planter and patio planter, I used 3 x 1/4" distribution hoses for 5 emitters. I'm not typically one to write reviews but I cannot believe I've spent the past couple of years using a hose and nozzle to manually water these when I could have just automated it for less than I spent on the hose! I'll buy some more for next spring when I get some raised beds in the backyard. Definitely impressed! ... show more

Nice but you need strong pressure in you home to cover all the 100 ft. For me didn’t work.

It was supposed to be a gift to help my mother out with her garden and she does love it but she wasn't going to sit there and assemble this so I took the time to do it for her. The assembly time would certainly deter me from recommending anyone looking for a plug and play system, this is not that, but it is well constructed and the end result is worth it. ... show more

The box had obviously been opened and relabeled. Most of the items were missing. Returning the box I was delivered and have reordered to see if I can get the items I ordered.

    • Doesn't work as expected and doesn't cover area
The primary hose is too short therefore you must use lots of the 1/4-inch line to reach the desired coverage. Using long amounts of the 1/4-inch line decreases the water flow especially if you have more than one emitter connected to it. The emitters furthest away put out only a miniscule spray and do not cover much area and some are only dripping water, not spraying as advertised. I do not recommend this system. If the primary hose was longer, or you could buy it separately to add length, this system might be more useful. ... show more

    • A little fiddly to install, but an excellent kit
I only take from vine what I need or use. I am building a self-sufficient garden and this was/is used for some of that. I took some time to do this review so you can have some confidence in it. However lets start as I always do, there is no longevity test here, so that's still up to determine. As ever with things outdoors this will have to stand bot the hot summers of Texas and the freezes, which is not plastic friendly. Anyways that said I like this kit. It was way too much (probably a good thing) for my 6x6 U shaped garden bed that I decided to trial it on. I have probably used about 1/2 the items, but that means I do have spares which I like. A small gripe that the main hose feed is a bit on the short side but its advertised as such so if you want to get all the way to a faucet/tap on the wall, you may need to invest in another feeder hose. I have basically made this ready for an underground feed which isn't there yet and if you intend to do that you'll be fine. You may/will need some garden wire. The cable ties that come are fine but they don't really work for me especially for adjusting the sprays when you get to that part. Now as I said its an excellent kit, but its tight to fit. Frustratingly so so I marked down the easy to use. IN the end you just persist and persist. Its the smaller pipe and the junctions that are the worst because those are fiddly to work with. you really can use grips because that would likely tear the pipe or break the plastic connections. I haven't tuned the system and I've kept the pressure down in case anything "pops" due to the aforementioned fiddly fittings. But it should work. Once I am happy with the layout I might glue some of the connectors in and seal with plumbers tape (some is provided). I mean it doesn't need to look good even though they have made it look good. You'll have to judge the value of the kit. I probably, excluding the main feed pipe, could have done two beds with the kit. So If and when I buy some more main feed fittings, I could use up the many spares I have left over. I think this kit would easily cover a very large bed, perhaps 20 ft in length. The reality is this kind of kit lends itself to a mix bed (mine is tomatoes, peppers, peas and garlic) and not necessary a root vegetable bed where I will just use a soaker hose. ... show more
