I ordered these Adjustable 360 Degree Drip Emitters for my vegetable garden. I've always used drip emitters for my vegetable garden. The problem is that the amount of water needed by a seedling is significantly less than what a full grown, fruiting plant needs. In the past, I've solved this problem by increasing the amount of time that the system runs. But, because my vegetable garden has many different types of plants are varying stages of growth, this is a compromise solution. These adjustable drippers are a much better solution. When turned on to their maximum output, they run at about 18 gph. You can reduce the water flow until it barely seeps. Unlike the typical drippers you can pick up at your local big box hardware store, you don't need to buy separate stakes, as these drippers have a built in stake. I attached my 1/4 inch feeder tube to a couple of these drippers. The tubing went on smoothly yet is nice and tight an unlikely to pop off. Adjusting the flow is as simple as turning a knob. If you are planning to install or upgrade a drip irrigation system, you should be sure that your system can be expanded as needed, and these drippers are one way to do that.
