Small tote, excellent quality, holds a lot

Update: I bought this a while ago when I was interviewing, and had never used it for work until this week. It holds much more than I would have guessed and looks more professional than my usual canvas bag. Surprisingly it fit everything, including glasses, box of allergy pills, a zillion pencils and pens, tissues, wallet, phone, keys, other random bits and bobs, and a freezie meal for lunch. I had to carry my water bottle but that's fine. Original review: I don't know why, since I did check the measurements, but I was visualizing something bigger. This could pass for a large purse. The compact size is more streamlined, and it's exactly what I needed to carry the basics like padfolio, wallet, phone etc. for job interviews (could also fit a laptop). If that's what you need, you're set - it's minimalist and good for when you want to look polished. I just wouldn't get this expecting to use it for the gym or a weekend trip. It's not that kind of tote. Another reviewer said the faux pebbled leather texture looked the highest quality, so that's what I chose. I'm grateful for their insight and totally agree. I was nervous it would look super cheapo, given the very low price, but in person it looks much more expensive than it is. (Love it when that happens!) The construction quality is impressive, and despite arriving folded, it doesn't have any creasing. One major benefit to buying here vs. in a store is that instead of being limited to the standard black or random neutrals, they have a zillion colors and textures, so you can get a few and switch them out. It's an interesting design - narrower at the top but then has a flat bottom with more space. There's also a pocket inside. It comes with a decorative tassel to jazz it up, and a surprisingly cute and versatile strip of scarf they include as an option. Normally the scarf-on-bag-handle isn't my thing, but here it somehow looks good. This is a great choice if you're looking for a simple bag to take to work.

Just what I was hoping for - great tote!

I just received this bag. I ordered this bag as a general tote bag to supplement my small cross-body bag. This bag is a good size to hold a coffee flask, water bottle, a change of shoes, a sweater or scarf in case of chilly temperatures, or a take-out container to a restaurant. I love the color, and the vegan leather is pliable without being flimsy. I like the magnetic closure in the center, the interior pocket (great for my phone and/or keys) and the handles are sewn along both edges for durability. I'm looking forward to getting lots of good use out of this tote.

Will this bag start to peel within a year? Yes. But is it the perfect size and color for everyday use? also yes! the straps are strong and have withheld my laptop and generally taken pretty well to a daily beating besides the inevitable peeling so I will be repurchasing until I find a better quality bag the has the dimensions and color options of this one. Has the sleek minimalist look I am searching for but obviously you get what you pay for.

Great Size and Color, But Feels Too Casual
