    • A pain to assemble, but still a good value

When I bought two of these units, it wasn't clear to me how much assembly was going to be required. All the photos show the unit completed, but it's actually typical flat-pack furniture with the usual badly-translated instructions. Worse, using the included cheap screwdriver (mine are still on a moving truck) resulted in stripping a couple of the screws. And, once assembled, it has a strong chemical odor, similar to a new carpet. However, it does look quite nice and feels reasonably sturdy for cheap, light furniture. It even includes a few extra screws and some plastic doohickies for attaching it to a wall, which would probably be a good idea if you're using it for a child's room. I like them enough that I might even buy a third unit. Build tips: 1. Assemble the drawers first, to give them a chance to start airing out. I found that it took about 24 hours for most of the harsh chemical smell to dissipate. 2. When the directions say that the three main frame pieces should be "facing the same direction", what they actually mean is that you need to have the holes for attaching the cross-supports all on the same side. If you read ahead to the next step before assembling them, it should be clearer. ... show more

The organizer looks nice in my room. The only defect was a somewhat bent arm on one of the cross dividers, but I was able to straighten it enough to be functional. I hope it holds up well for storing craft supplies.

To be honest when I got this, it looked like it was wood on some of it, like the drawers looked like they had some kind of wood ply wood or actual food, but it was just cloth made to look like wood, so I was a little upset to find out that, but it works good, and I use it for my clothes, the drawers fall out super easily though, but it’s pretty lightweight but sturdy for what it’s made from, and installing it was super easy as well.. the top of it is made out of the actual wood though, which is nice so I can put stuff on top. ... show more

This is a really good product. It was so easy to assemble very sturdy. Easy instructions even came with the tools and extra screws and nuts just in case. I highly recommend it and I plan on purchasing a few more pieces.

Update... although the product I received was poor quality and had to be returned, the seller reached out and made an offer to make it right. I appreciate the great customer service so I'm upgrading my review rating to reflect that. The box arrived damaged but that isn’t the reason for the one star. The two metal frame pieces didn’t match up… one side was built as it should have been, the other side was completely crooked. ... show more

I am by no means a handy-woman, but even I can put this together. The instructions were clear and it came with the only tools you needed to put it together. I can fit a lot of clothes in the drawers. The removability of the drawers is also nice for rotating my seasonal clothes to be more accessible for me without having to move piles into a new drawer. Honestly, a middle schooler could probably put this together; it’s really that easy to do. ... show more
